GoPro HD Mountain Biking Holy Jim Trail to Saddleback Peak - Chest Mount

Holy Jim Trail is tucked in Trabuco Canyon and climbs up Saddleback Mountain. Holy Jim connects to Santiago Fire Road after 6 miles then climbs to Santiago Peak. The trail is 9 miles up with an elevation gain of over 4,000 ft to reach the peak at 5,687 ft. Most of the footage is from the way down (of course). Enjoy the ride!

I just did it this week, super gnarly. Not a single person on the trail the entire time, just me. Took a long time to get uphill (mostly walking the bike), got dark while I was getting downhill, super dangerous, especially when u get right off the main divide road back onto the holy jim trail, that was the scariest part. Any way, awesome video man!

Tried riding here today but it was impossible! It's in horrible shape. Obviously 0 maintenance has been done.

do you ride clipped in or flat pedals?

+Alex Pavlov Clipped. No way you can get over some of the rocks on the climb with flats. The upper part of Holy Jim trail before it connects to Santiago Truck trail is a little sketchy so I Hike-a-biked some.

So where do you end up at in the end?

+Unclekast it's up and back. End up on top of Saddle Back Mountain - 5700ft elevation then turn around for the fun part.
