(PLEASE READ) ANYONE LOOKING TO DO THIS PROJECT!!
These are tips & steps NOT mentioned in this video.
Here is a bit of expert advice when making this.
1. ( important ) Make each weave as tight as possible , Especially when connecting the 2 ends to form the top & bottom.
2. Finish the bottom of the cross the same exact way as you do the top to make the loop. Makes it look better over all
3. ( THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL ) after you finish your cross. BOIL IT...!
Take a ceramic cup, Bowl or microwave safe item large enough to fit the entire cross , fill it with water , put it in microwave for about 2-3 minutes until water is boiling Hot , take a paper clip, Bobby pin ect. Loop it through the top of the cross then dip the entire cross in the hot water for 20-25 seconds. Then set aside to dry for a couple hours ( make sure the core is in when you dip ) . You can leave it in the water for longer to make it shrink more
I'll explain, boiling paracord makes it shirk & harden. If you Don't boil your paracord cross, when you put your cross on your Keychain (IT WILL BECOME LOOSE & become misshapen) then it won't look good after a day or two.
Also if you'd like a little bit larger cross , do 5,5,5,10 . Do 5 weaves on both ends & 5 for the top then 10 on the bottom. You will not need extra paracord to do this.
When you go to connect the 2 separate ends to start the top & bottom, If there not lining up correctly add or remove 1 weave from one side only & that will fix the issue...

The top and sides 3 or 4 knots. The body as long as you like. Just don't make it real long about 6 is ok. You make for you.
Mmmm. What happens at 3.45 when there is a colour switch? Black top right becomes a blue. I think it would make a difference..
