While I agree with you that relics are useful for linking combos and the passive stun can come in handy, some relics’ abilities can transform or highly enhance champions. I like relics. I also like that the 3 star ones are usable. I was concerned at first that relics were just going to be another way for Kabam to take our money. This is the role that similar items play in most games. In this case, they’ve enhanced the game with relics without forcing us to spend money on relics.

Relics are a major misstep by Kabam. They are: 1) too complicated 2) too confusing 3) a poor fit for the game 4) a clear signal that Kabam devs clearly don't have a clear goal or concept for them 5) a waste precious game space 6) adding bloat in the game 7) a poor job of generating revenue (both by themselves, and in stepping on the toes of other sources) 8) a glaring in your face reminder of MCOC being a game that adds and forces bad and poorly thought out content The core game was not built with Relics in mind. And Kabam devs have clearly not put good thought into figuring out how or why it could be added to the game. Kabam devs have not though out how to add this type of whole new system to this type of game. MCOC as a game is incredibly confusing. Adding content that is designed to require understanding all that confusion and making minutia changes to it is absurd. MCOC combines the "how it actually works" confusion of RPGs with the "how it actually works" confusion of Fightng Games. Ending up with a game type that multiplies the confusion of both genres. That only works as a mass audience game if most players don't have to actually ever understand that confusion to be able to play it. Like playing Blackjack. But Relics seems to make their whole experience about a player being able to understand that confusion. Fail.

Best matchups I’ve found are hulk buster with Nebula: killer. And then black Panther before Shangchi’s SP2 is wonderful

the hulk relic helps out overseer the most then titania bcs u can use it to help get to ur cosmic mode faster which is his big damage potential

Its more useful than you think especially if a champ is stun immune. Using the relic will stun them.
