I'm a 25 year old woman, and not small in any sense (6' tall and chonky to attract Moto Moto lol) and I'll full on carry around the stoat from toreba (which is like...3 feet long i think?)
lemme tell ya: beyond "your plushie is so cute!" or "oh i love the thing that plushie is from!" nobody says a word to me about them. carry your friends with pride and feel happy and safe wherever you go :)

Does it stop when you let go of the button or when you press it? You could prepress then release when you want it to stop…that’s how fishing works in Stardew Valley anyways!
