They got super creative the way they broke these songs down to these stripped down versions. They easily could have just done a simple acoustic version but they added in a lot more to it and changed the vibe of the songs really.
There are some really talented musicians that tour with them, I don’t know if they all are the guitarist on the far right is I believe, he looked familiar as I just saw them live a few days ago. And then of course Jack, the drummer who is crazy good and has been with them since the beginning!

I was so addicted to these guys before. I used to have their albums, camp rock magazines, posters, any merch available that I can afford. Men, the flood took them away last 2009. I cried so hard. Wished they never disbanded. So happy they are united again ❤️.
You can totally tell Nick and Joe are always going at it, trying to out do each other. And my man Kevin just be chilling in the back like "Yea. Cool. Whatever dudes. I'm just chillin' playing my guitar."
I really enjoy seeing this imperfect version of them. It feels like we don’t get to see them without all the frills often enough. They really are very talented on their own and people don’t get to see that. They make mistakes and somehow that makes it better and more real.
Lovebug would have been a good choice for a Jonas Brothers Tiny Desk Concert, I never expected it would happen but the moment I saw it I was almost sure that it would be in the list.
“Only Human” sounds like it could be a track by The Police. never been a fan but this performance was actually great! love how they incorporated the toy instruments!
It's so easy for Nick to alter his tone, infection, cadence etc. By doing that he can jump from any genre to the next. He effortlessly does it across the board in any setting also. That is talent.
@@WHALEx3he’s even more complete as an artist more than Joe in my opinion. Joe has got the power and charisma, but Nick’s got the skills. This guy is an amazing musician. He can play guitar, piano, drums or even other instruments and thinking he learns things by ears which is not easy.
Not a huge fan of the way Nick sings 🤷🏻♀️ he looks like he’s in pain even when it comes to the easy notes. But today when I saw they had a tiny desk I figured I would give them a fair shake like I do to everyone else on Tiny Desk. The first song was a pleasant surprise, the second shows how their voices are all a little different- which might be a recent development, but I appreciated it as their lives are very different and that showed through their voices, and the third was a nice fun journey showing how their voices work well together. They actually have very different sounding voices and vocal techniques. Nick has a lighter, breathier, airier, and more nasally tone. He excels in the falsetto register. Joe has a fuller, more colorful chest voice and he excels at lower register singing and belting. He can do the high notes too, but his tone sounds very different from Nick. I honestly think Joe is a much more natural vocalist (it just comes easier to him). Nick sometimes sounds like he's struggling to stay on pitch. You can see that come through in their faces too.
