Black Tapri Goat breed is found in the Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas to Khipro and Khairpur district of Sindh province of Pakistan. Tapri goats are in different color such as gold, reddish brown, white and black. The head and ears are small and the neck is short. The udder and teats in does are small. Adult males and females weigh 35kg and 25kg, respectively. Twins birth are common. They are raised mainly for meat purposes, but they can also produce 0.5-1.0 litres of milk per day.
