Your such a great uncle buddy! I’m the same with my niece and I recently bought a Polaroid sun 600 and I’m gonna make some memories with it to happy photo taking buddy!
I bought one of these in a pawn shop in the late nineties for quick reference photos when I was a graphic design student. I paid 10 bucks for it. I still have it and it still works. Polaroid cameras are surprisingly durable despite being plastic mass-produced. None of them are worth the inflated prices they’re asking for them though.
No, it just means that it has a built-in close-up lens that goes over the regular lens making it a close-up 2-4ft focus but if you don't use the close-up function it is the same as any other plastic polaroid 4-inf. focus. You can capture some great landscapes with them but do keep in mind that the sharpness on all the plastic lens polaroids is not great so don't expect mindblowing detail. For finer detail and more control over the focus you should consider one of the glass lens polaroids but they can get a bit pricy at times depending on what you are looking for. Hope that helps.
My grandma got me one of these when I was around your nieces age. It’s a great first camera and mine still works. Thanks for the video!
Great fun! I love the vintage colours of polaroid - takes me back to the 70s!

eh, 30 usd is the price these are nowadays, which is fine
On Amazon I've seen them listed for $127.00 to $140.00. I looked there because I wanted to see if I could still get film after finding my old camera.
💰 That’s super pricey! Keep an eye out at garage sales and flea markets 😎
Lookin great Teach !
My man. 💛
Does the use of the word close up mean it's specifically designed for close up photos or would it be capable of capturing landscapes and city scapes?

4 dollars for a lot of fun
Now if they could only make the film cheaper 😂 thanks for watching!
It's a gorgeous camera but the film is too frickin' expensive
Agree! I wish it was a lot cheaper. Makes you really think about each shot. Enjoy!
