So glad that you discovered Fundador. It has been my go to drink ever since my friend Lou introduced me to it back in NJ in in the early 80s. I think that Hemingway might have sipped on it in his days in Spain where he had a fin or two or more. Yes, it's so flavorful but very decidedly smooth as you indicated. Smooth, smooth, smooth. I drink it as an accompaniment to my daily beers and I sip it with delight.

Shocked! Brandy de Jerez is the most popular Brandy in the Philippines compared to the rest where France comes to mind when it comes to Brandy. We literally have it a lot here from Fundador Solera, Fundador Gold Reserve, THE MIGHTY FUNDADOR EXCLUSIVO, Alfonso I and Carlos I. It's literally everywhere here. Don't you know it has 3 Grades? Solera - 1/2 to 1 Years Solera Reserva - 1 to 3 Years Solera Gran Reserva 5 to 10 Years YOU SHOULD TRY CARLOS I AND FUNDADOR EXCLUSIVO. IF YOU CATCH ANY OF THE TWO I MENTIONED, BUY IT!
No, I was unaware of those grades, but thanks so much for the information. I'm happy to hear that it is so popular, there. Unfortunately, I think this one is the only one I can get, but I hope that is not true. Thanks for watching, Nezuko Kamado. I appreciate it!
No wonder you have such a large selection of Fundador in the Philippines. As far as I know Imperador Inc. the owners of which the Filippinos and the Chinese bought Fundador. Of the Spanish brandies, I prefer Torres, especially Torres 20. I hope that after the restrictions associated with COVID will be over, I can spend my holidays in Barcelona and visit the winery and try Torres 50, not sells in Canada, unfortunately.
Fundador was already owned by Emperador (also a brandy). you can try and check some filipino stores they should have fundador with differnt classes fundador have
No, and I don't suppose I'll ever get around reviewing liqueurs on a regular or even intermittent basis. Thanks for watching, bumblesby. I appreciate it!
Remember too that all European royalty is fairly closely related to all other European royalty, even the Russian and Albanian Royalty. My dad was from Brandy Station, VA, in Culpeper County, and the site of the biggest Cavalry engagement in the history of western civilization, in the Civil War.
@@ronaldtheriot Bought a bottle of Courvoisier VS, to give my new snifters a decent test. Plus, it's cold, windy, and raw, and snowed most of the day. No accumulation, but the most wintry weather I've seen in 3 winters in VAB.

Yes man, I totally back you up. Fundador is awesome, no surprise Hemingway was a fan. I’m enjoying my bottle as I watch you. 👍🏼

From Mind Your Language, stufent man from Spain asked for wine or brandy but he called it “Fundador”.

The best brandy in Mexico it's called Azteca de Oro
I'd be keen to try that one. Thanks for watching, Rafael Martinez. I appreciate it!
Y muy bueno que tiene que estar ese Brandy de Méjico, 😋😋😋
Do they age in used bourbon barrels? Which would mean it is flavored with bourbon like a lot of scotch and irish whiskey.
Well, their website is saying that they age it in used sherry barrels, made from American oak. Thanks for watching, KNiteshft. I appreciate it!
Do you have B&B (Benedictine & Brandy) on your review list? I just bought some but have not tried it yet. Heard it was good.

Very interesting, William. Yes, I knew about the royal bloodlines thing.
