I've been to sea world only once so far, and I really liked it. I miss these shows

breaks my heart to see them go. 20 years old, first time at seaworld was 3 months. Dozens of shamu adventures, believes, and it ends with one ocean. although over, I and many, will never forget what these shows did for me as a kid, as a young adult, inspiring my journey to love animals. Seaworld, and all its animals, should be proud of they've all done for people. brought tears to me eyes watching such a big emotional part of my childhood end, but may another chapter begin.
Well said, brother! Watching today's show was definitely emotional and teary eyed, but hey we can't do much about it so we can either look at the tank half empty or half full! Here's to a new chapter!
Can't love animals and support shows like this. It is entirely possible to inspire people to love animals and work with them in humane environments which done exploit the animals for the public's viewing pleasure. It could be done with ocean cove pens for these orcas. Don't use the conservation argument about sea world either when most of their conservation relies on "capture and study" tactics or piggybacking on researchers glory.

@@kawaiiyanderlee9616 Yeah if I were an orca at seaworld, and getting all that attention and medical care, I'd rather stay there than in the wild.
My parents and I were just there over a month ago watching One Ocean out of desperation. It's bittersweet to say goodbye but know we will still have Shamu for a while longer!
I just wish for myself to have the chance to go there and see them, regardless of what show it will be.

This makes me wanna come back to SeaWorld. I watched One Ocean back in 2012 at SeaWorld Orlando and loved every minute of it.
Did you get a chance to watch believe? It was even better than one ocean if you can BELIEVE that! Lol! Those were the good old days when trainers used to go into the water!
TNP Sheepdog but then tilikum in Orlando grabbed dawn's ponytail which wasn't allowed near the whales.
There was so much love, support, and excitement in the stadium last night. I'm so glad I was able to go. 💙

so emotional😢❤i remember visiting seaworld for the first time in 2015 and watching the shamu show i enjoyed every second of the show. I never thought that i would ever see an ocra in real life, i almost cried of joy when one orca first jumped out of the water❤😢

I saw One Ocean in August of 2015.
The feelings of inspiration and joy the show gave me lasted four days. If anything could inspire a person to take care of our 🌊 , it was Seaworld.
I am 😢 because I didn’t know it would be my last orca show...

I went on 1/7/17 hoping to beat the crowds that I knew would be there on the final day. In the show there were only two Orcas in the tank. It is nice to see this video that shows seven Orcas performing. Thank you for uploading this video!!

I'm glad One Ocean will still be Orlando for a while longer. I hope the Orca Encounter changes up the questions and personalizes more to the orcas in that presentation. The thing I dislike about Killer Whales Up Close show is that once you seen it, there is almost no point in seeing it again because it is the same questions over and over again.
And I think it is fitting that the last One Ocean in San Diego ended with Queen Kasatka on the slide out.

Very emotional send off to a great show, here's to Orca Encounters! Also the skywalk being open for once, my 3 visits in 2016 they were closed. Wonder if they will reopen the skywalks with the remodel. Anyways, thank you for the video!

I think it was open because so many people attended this show and opening it would let more people watch. I don't know if Skywalks will ever reopen unfortunately given they closed due to certain users taking backstage footage out of context. I'm glad you enjoyed and if you can see Orca Encounter I'd love if you shared!

Shamu Stadium I got to see her for the first time when I was 5 or 6 & most recently as last year. The 1st time though was pretty magical, don’t know how else to describe it & ever since she’s earned a place in my heart, she’s definitely a sweetheart ♥️♥️ It’s something I’ll hold onto forever.

I think one of the main reasons they left Uli out was because of him and Corky not getting along. they're said to be okay is Kasatka was there, but for pretty much an entire show? there's a good chance one of them (most likely Uli) would snap and start attacking the other, and they didn't want to ruin the show. and if the choice is between Ulises and Corky, i can see why they chose Corky. sad that they couldn't swap Corky out for him in one segment though.
I think the only reason why he's not here is he just happened to be in the Shamu CloseUp at that moment and if he was to participate in the show he would have had to go past or go out with Kasatka's group which they decided not to bother with.

Yes, that's a different show called Orca Encounter. The show you're watching here is One Ocean, which is still running in Orlando and San Antonio. San Diego is the only park that has Orca Encounter as of now.

How do you find a orca in a ocean ?
Go to a place where there are orcas, and either take a tour or head out in a human powered craft like a small sail boat, kayak, ect, or just cut the engines and slow right down.
