- Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi spoke to FRANCE 24’s Marc Perelman on the eve of her meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. Sentenced to death for blasphemy in 2010 and acquitted eight years later, Asia Bibi looks back on the argument that caused her arrest, as well as on the ordeals endured over the ten years she spent in jail in Pakistan. Now exiled, she hopes ‘to come back someday’ in her country, and called on Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to abrogate Pakistan’s blasphemy law.

Seeing so many people protesting to get her hanged is most disgusting thing I have seen. Before this case I used to think that honor killings are just things done by individual phycopaths on muslim countries instead of whole community agreeing with those. But seeing some many people protest, made me think that there must be something wrong how these people think. Happy to see that on Pakistani high court has some decent minded people and she is now free.
Sadly the judge who gave judgement is no more he was beheaded immediately, this show's the minds have been engraved with evil. They just want to hurt the minorities, I'm sure still in Pakistan there will be people ready to skin Asia Bibi till today if given a chance.

I'm also Christian of Pakistan 🇵🇰. That's true. Christians are faced many problems. Me also faced many problems... I applied for the job. But that's true they easily giving the jobs opportunity to the Muslims. Still I'm jobless. Every day is different. But I'm thankful to Jesus Christ. I want to come over there in Europe or Canada 🍁..
