Latino workers are absolutely the best workers. I had a guy from Guatemala and he was happy with a 20 dollar bill for a days work. I paid him $25/hr and he gave me the cross necklace his grandma gave him. I gave it back to him and for Christmas i gave him a $500 bonus and he was overcome with joy. I can add some context to the jobless report. The Detroit big three all did layoffs of their salaried IT work forces last summer. A good number of those people were packaged out and are just now eligible to collect unemployment. Those were thousands of jobs all gone within a few months in a single region only now showing up in the jobless numbers.
also. during Covid, the majority of Blue state Governors kept the closures for an extended period of time beyond red states. When things were closed, and people got laid off. Then, after the election, states began re-opening to full. Allowing businesses to do business and make money, and thus pay people a payroll. the record jobs that happened under biden were simply the jobs coming back that were temporarily ended. Everyone was awake when that happened. Everyone remembers the businesses closing doors and limiting services.
Oh, well thank goodness, here we were worried it was bad news!

The irony is that AI will eliminate a lot of jobs. The big challenge will be making sure that people whose jobs are displaced by AI will either get a good job or in some other way be supported.

In the 30s during the great depression and in the late 2000s and 2010s during the great recession. In both times you have a federal government that was too hands on. Same thing happening now under Biden. Yes, we had the "pandemic", but that is over, it has been nearly 3 years and the economy is still bad.
As for Trump, the economy improved under him. The economy was stagnant under Obama. Under Trump homeownership rates grew, worker participation rate grew, wages grew faster under Trump compared to Obama. The numbers don't lie.
And what could have Trump done differently with covid? He did all he could do. The reality is that if Trump were to do a federal lockdown and a federal mask mandate you guys would have thrown down your masks and gathered in large crowd calling him a fascist. You say people lost their jobs, it was because of the lockdowns. And then you say 1.2 million died? Well, what did you want? Did you want people working and spreading the disease or not?

We've replaced full-time jobs with part-time jobs. Actually, 1.2 part-time jobs for every full-time job added to the economy. Worse than that perhaps is that almost all of these jobs fall into government category, or healthcare. Very few real, full-time with benefits, high paying jobs. Jobs numbers are propped up by people working two, three and even four jobs. Then look around at companies like Tyson foods and other big manufacturing corporations... they're laying off full-time employees by the thousands, and replacing them with illegal immigrant workers. This is the Biden economy that he is bragging about?

Just because an area isn't known for a type of job, why is that an issue (Didn't notice if it was something you gave note to or just something they brought up)? People move, people work remotely, people learn new skills. There is always people who have skills which are not well known in areas.
Alberta is known for Oil & Gas. There is a huge tourism market here and many other industries, even if the current government is stuck with them.

BUT, my niece, a single mom in a red state (Idaho), is being paid so little with her 2 year degree as a vet tech, her cost of housing is too high, and childcare is exhorbitant. She can't leave because of restrictions caused by her divorce. How many single parents are struggling so much? So many...

Under the Trump administration when he didn’t handle the pandemic correctly, I lost my job had to go on unemployment and he called those on unemployment “slackers”. 4. Trump did succeed in creating jobs.Employment was up during his term until economy lost 20.5million jobs in 2020. When trump left office in 2021 employment was 9.4million below 2020 peak. Under Biden, economy has gained 15.4million jobs. So…yeah….Biden has created more jobs!

He didn't create all those jobs. People went back to their jobs after covid.
That might be true IF they all went back to the same jobs. However, a lot of the businesses they worked for went under during the COVID-19 recession, so those jobs weren't available to return to.

Telling half truths on job creation. Many of the jobs " created" are part-time jobs because people are struggling to stay afloat in this economy.
If you feel that metrics about job creation is only a “half-truth”, then what metrics should be used to measure job growth and how would your metric compare for Biden and Trump?

I actually got a little dizzy from the way you're trying to spin things, let's cut to the chase, who cares if you have a job if you can't afford goods!?!? 3 1/2 years ago if you had a job and you were making "X" amount of dollars, and gas was $2.17, inflation was 1.4% and mortgages were 3.2%.... you had a good life, things were affordable and everyone was happy. Now its 3 and 1/2 years later, you're still making "X" amount of dollars but now, interest rates are up to 7.51%, gas is $7.49 a gallon, inflation was up to 9% last year add food prices are up 35%.
So tell me, how is having a job and or more jobs helping us!?!?

Firstly, big fan & follower of Mr. David Pakman. I just watched a "short reel" with David talking about Barron Trump going into politics...invited to be a GOP delegate. Unless this is very, very new & updated news, I've heard this past week that Barron Trump declined the invitation to be a GOP delegate in Florida. Except for David's short reel, I've not seen or heard any other sources reporting that he will now be a delegate. I hope David will clarify this.
