- A closer look at 2 of the 3 tank inhabitants of the Sewellia breeding rack.
Sewellia sp. "Spotted" "SEW01" - with fry
Sewellia lineolata - with fry
Sewellia albisuera - have fry but not shown. (They hid the whole time)
Super nice footage and finally a good explanation between S. Lineolata and Albisuera. Thanks a lot for that!
Do these two crossbreed?
Hope to see more of your fish.
Greetings from Amsterdam.
Thank you!
To be honest, I have not yet check for crossbreeding between those two species. Although, I suspect I may have some other hybrids.
With the tanks linked the way they are and the necessity to keep water flow unrestricted, the small fry can get to almost every tank in the rack system.
I have some free time coming up in the next few months so will try to get a couple of videos out then.
Gorgeous fish 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!!
Wow beautiful fish, ub for you, hello welcome to yt👌👌👌
Thank you very much.
Love this
Thank you. They are very rewarding when kept in larger groups.
what do you feed them other than slime and algae, they look nice and chunky
I feed predominantly a homemade feed of spirulina, shrimp, vitamins, spinach, seaweed and eggs set in gelatin, supplemented with quality dry foods and frozen live foods.
@@HATtwI have six Purple Finned Hillstreams coning this week. They were available and I had never seen them before so I had to buy them. Are you familiar with this species? I can’t find much to research so I suppose they are rather rare or just not as well documented as the others.
wow, nice! same species 😁
Great fish. Boring to some, fascinating to me.
Not available here in the Philippines... 😍😍☹☹😇😇🌈🌈
That's a pity. I waited for almost 15 years to find a certain, rather common, fish here and now it is quite widely available. If you ever get the chance, definitely keep these almost fish. Let me know if you ever find some.
