    Really enjoy your You Tube page. Short, simple, concise. really like the format. < 5 years away from going full time.

      Thanks! That is what we were going for. We were always frustrated when other videos did not get to the point, so we started trying to make concise videos. Glad to hear it is coming across!

    Sounds great! We are in an Rv park where you step out into your neighbors rig. We are at a KOA at the Pomona rv show. Wow! That looks great. Good for you. Ken

      We’re at a KOA in Oklahoma City. The sites are close, but not that bad.

      This is the worst we have stayed at. The electric boxes are full of spider webs. Etc. it’s just me I don’t like rv parks. When I was on chemo we stayed at s KOA that was great

    Great find. We will be camping in Montgomery over Thanksgiving. We might change our reservation to stay out here instead of the RV park in town. This looks nice.

      Next time you’re traveling around the US, try the app from Recreation.gov. It shows all the campgrounds that are managed by the government like this one, as well as national parks.

    Those decks on the RV are awesome, have seen a lot more lately! Army Corps of Engineers have been the BEST, we love the ones we have been staying at in Nashville. Love the review guys, looks like a great spot!

    Some of the best parks in the country are Corp of Engineer parks. We have some great ones here in south Florida.

      That's so sweet of you, Stacy. I've been so busy, I haven't had any time for my own channel or to check up on my UA-cam friends like you. We were in a documentary film (about RVers) and had to go to this festival for the premiere. Now I'm working on something called Full-Time Freedom Week where we are producing a whole week's worth of content for people who want to be full-time RVers. We're hosting 8 videos per day the entire week of Thanksgiving (on www.fulltimefreedomweek.com). I'm not making all the videos, but am organizing it all. -Julie

Take care and have a beautiful and blessed day ----Stacy 😍💚

    This looks like a very nice place to stay. I love the pull through sites. Sean, I would love to know what your shirt said.

    • @ChickerysTravels
      @ChickerysTravels  6 років тому +1

      Pull thru sites sure do make life easy. We stayed for 2 weeks and there were only back ins for that length of time. It's a Big Bang Theory show t-shirt. The words are from the theme song.

    Sean, I just finished watching you all on RV Nomads movie, great job! I notice you are pulling with a Chev 3500 dually. How is your truck setup and how does it pull a 20K camper? I have a GMC 3500 dually and I'm looking at the GD 397TH and it's a GVWR of 20K also. Do you have airbags? Thanks and we look forward to crossing paths. We have been watching yall channel for several months now.

    • @ChickerysTravels
      @ChickerysTravels  5 років тому

      Mark, thank you! The dually does not have anything special. It came with the towing package, but that did not include airbags. The Duramsx Allison combination works really well for both low end torque and high end performance. I always use the exhaust brake when I am towing to assist with the stopping. It is a 2014 3500 HD LTZ and the only thing I added was the Reese hitch. I keep up with all of the recommended maintenance. So far (knock on wood) it has had no issues. I still get about 10 mpg when towing and have put about 75K miles on it.
      We look forward to meeting up some time as well. We had a lot of fun filming the movie, so we are glad you liked it.
      Let me know if I didn’t answer your question with enough info. Always happy to provide more.
      I don’t think you will have any problem towing the Grand Design. They are nice!

    Great info. Just to ask, your towing vehicle is Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually, does it perform well, considering your RV is 20,000 pounds max? Thanks.

    • @ChickerysTravels
      @ChickerysTravels  5 років тому +1

      Performs great. I have not had any problems with the Chevy yet (knock on wood).
