When I got married my mother in law filled the parental holes I had been struggling with for years. She loved me and took me in as her own child. She was our family's biggest cheerleader and encourager. 4 years ago we found out she had cancer and she passed away in 13 days. Our lives changed irreversably. I switched my phone and lost all her texts I was so upset. But her last text to me was
'The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace'
It's the only text I can remember and the most important. I cant help but cry when I hear this, but it makes me smile because it turns my focus to THE LORD. If she loved us, and was for us as much as she was, how much more is the LORD for us and defending us, and caring for us and helping us. As much as we would want her back in an instant, we have the Lord, and I am so grateful for that. He is all we need.

As a fellow musician and local worship leader, this has me completely speechless and teary-eyed! Beautifully done. There is something about a full symphonic orchestra that brings the true beauty of music, and the intricate details of what is behind the music. This blessing truly blessed my soul! May God bless each and every musician, singer, and producer behind this. May this blessing continue to go to all corners of the earth, until the whole world hears about our Savior Jesus Christ!

@@ng3069 the Lord can be worshipped through many styles of music, which can either be done poorly, or with excellence. I agree, this video sounds beautiful!! And I love that it's all straight from scripture! But i've come to believe over the years that so much about what people see as "right" or "wrong" when it comes to worship comes down to personal taste. What ultimately matters is the posture of our hearts, whether in a church sanctuary or outside of one. (Romans 12:1-2). Blessings to you!
Tradition is not singing Gods praise like this,I'm an old guy,and remember it very differently in my day,respect,holiness and Godliness was in a church this is nothing of the sort.
For the mother & son dance during my son's wedding, I dedicated this beautiful song to my son. Midway through the song, I motioned my daughter-in-law to join and dance with us. I then gave them one last group hug and exited the dance floor, because this was me letting go so they can cleave to one another and start their new life together as one in marriage. All the guests continued to sing along for the rest of the song, blessing them with this prayer while my son and daughter-in-law danced. May the Lord's blessing, grace, and favor be upon them. Amen.
When I was a little kid my sisters and I would go to the Presbyterian church cater corner to our house. Our Pastor seemed like a giant of a man when I was only about 5 or 6. I can remember his face, his kind words, his gentle touch. And always, always, always he would end our Sunday service with The Blessing. He would come down from his great pulpit, which seemed as tall as him. And stand in front of the big long commode which had the words “Do This In Remembrance of Me,” engraved across the top of it. He would stand in front of it with his arms outstretched, the great sleeves of his “reverend” robe hanging from his arms. And he would speak these words. And it seemed like he must have a direct connection to God. Like he could call Him up anytime he wanted and the rest of us stood in awe at his holiness. At least I was. Reverend had a home at the end of our street. One day I was walking the old railroad tracks that were across the T-intersection at the end of that road. I stepped on a chunk of old railroad and boy did it bleed. I hobbled over to the reverend’s house and he washed my foot and put some gauze on it and like my own personal miracle, it felt better. Oh, it still had to heal but his gentleness and kindness were everything in that moment. Like the most wonderful grandpa a 5 year old could have. I thought of him often over the years, wondered what he was doing. Imagining that he went home to his heavenly reward. At least I hope so. I was more than a little scared when I found out that many ministers, reverends, pastors and priests didn’t have a true relationship with Him. I always hoped he did. I wanted to be able to see him, his smiling face, his wise, kind eyes smiling in greeting. I guess I just have to wait and see!

I think they could be disliking the video because of all of the people in the church this is a pandemic the church opens when the virus is over not before that. Lots of churches have worked out how to do virtual worship why can’t they?

I think it might have been because the lead vocalist was not their taste. Kristian Stanfil as lead vocalist singing with Melodie would be great to hear with this arrangement. Where have they been during all this?

As I watch this, I was remembering "flash mobs" the beautiful unexpected artists, musicians, and vocalists who would appear in malls and sing beautiful songs. I think it would be a blessing for all the cities that are being destroyed by hate, violence, looting and arson, to be overcome with this song by a flash mob. Every city that has been under siege by the darkness of evil, we should being light, live love, and hope to those cities, to America.
Praise God for THIS SONG written by Elevation Church! I searched You Tube this evening to discover that MANY all over the world are uniting as a result of this song! I found videos from Ghana, Nigeria, Canada, the UK, the United States, and now Passion City Church! This is teaching me that the body of Christ is ALL OVER THE WORLD! During this pandemic, when the world is struggling, WE HAVE HOPE WHICH IS FOUND IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE! I can only "imagine" us all standing before the throne of God singing this TOGETHER!

Many comments about how this is a glimpse of heaven. With good reason. A crusading atheist once told me he wasn't interested in heaven because it would be boring. I told him he needs to learn more about heaven. Or maybe it's just the difference between us. I might be able to do this all day every day and never get bored with it. This stirs my soul.

Wow! What Christian song have we heard so much of in such a little time, performed by so many, and heard by so many around the globe?!! This is for sure a blessing out of Covid. God can turn what we think is bad and make good out of it. Amen? He is the God of the impossible!! I love the ambiance of the whole place - the lighting, each orchestra member sitting in their own circle of light, the flowers, the social distancing, the colors, and of course, the music! Well done.

Over the past several years, my wife enjoyed these UA-cam worship and praise videos having a morning routine of seeking first JESUS as she struggled with advancing Parkinson's. Her body failed, even her mind, but her spirit was buoyed up by the WORD OF GOD and worshipping Him alone. This version of The Blessing went deep into her spirit and gave her hope to contend for healing. On April 5th she went to be with Jesus.
