Cool! Brand new ST game, it’s always welcome. It’s some kind of Rick Dangerous / Kid Gloves with speecy’s Abu Simbel vibes. I like it, I will play it now! Thanks
The problem with the Speccy version is that it doesn't have 320x200 resolution like the C64 or Atari XL/ST or Amiga, so the whole game needs to be converted to 256x192. Which is obviously quite laborious.
This isn't already a Spectrum game!? That's surprising. I was under the impression that this was just another ZX Spectrum game, pointlessly dumped onto the C64, for some reason... (If they were proper ports, that took advantage of the hardware differences, it wouldn't annoy me, so much.)
@@DanTurner-x6z Polish dev team. There is a very strong 8 bit ATARI community in Poland. I am in Slovakia, ZX Spectrum land. This game was created for 8 bit ATARI.
It's not a problem. I designed the map for TONY specifically for the ZX Spectrum, taking into account the slight differences due to the smaller screen width compared to the Atari and C64. Now, I'm waiting for the final version of the code that Wojtek is working on.
