The only problem I have with this game is the god damn hitboxes.
Oh, I hit them PERFECTLY and it does not register. But yet someone from like inches away is able to hit me and put me in a stupid combo.

so far the balancing has been very good, there's a few characters that need a bit more balancing. but other than that I find the game pretty good, and for the latest upd they fixed a lot of bugs. and the jjk "pay wall" they're gonna be free once the season ends.

Goku’s ult is too op cause moves are easy to land and crazy damage
Power’s m1 is op when you use her scythe move
Gojo’s ult can spam blue 3 times and domain expansion with purple (blue does 45 and easy to land)
Dio’s ult timeskip can one shot if you use moves correctly
Gon can use a one shot kill move and still have ult
Vegito’s beam attack is too big
There’s more problems with balancing too (Mori and Ippo were so op I had to stop using them)

Luffy does 80% hp in one move in awak, dio can literally oneshot in awak, ryuko, the questline unit, is locked behind 100 gems which you cannot obtain without bp.
Gem grind needs to be reduced and awakening damage needs to be nerfed across every character.
The controller controls dont make sence at all the skills that only work are on bumps not on triggers so if i use a character i can only use 2 skills, and the mobile controls are everywhere its crazy💀
Bro why do most games not even get fun combat mechanics right? The only game where i actually genuinly enjoy the combat system is Peroxide.
The pulling skins for characters you don’t own is a you thing from what I’ve seen. Myself and anyone I play with having only been getting stuff for characters we own. My problem is that 9 times out of 10 I pull either a Goku or Luffy skin when I’m trying to pull for literally anyone else
They said they will make vegito and jiren free later, but if they dont give rewards for those who bought the previous pass i drop the game

The good thing is that both Jiren and Vegito will be able to be obtained from gems, and I think this will apply to old battle passes once new ones come out.
Also, the banning characters don’t even work if you used a character last round and even if they ban that like goku. You can still use it

People always complain about every combat game being an aba ripoff but when heavens arena actually come out with a different and creative combat taking inspiration from fighterz it got shit on and idk why. They then ended up changing the combat like 6 times after that. Ruined the game, all good though we have aba 2.0 with janky looking ragdoll animation combos and shitty hit boxes that is inconsistent between characters
Knowing the studio, theyve rebranded like 4 times over 2 years, dont expect anything. Just grind harder tbh 🐒

Game has potential Al as long the devs devs lower their greed factor. Fix hit boxes, lower paywall access, also apprently jiren and vegito are gonna become obtainable later ( give compensation for those who bought them ).

Their previous games were insanely grindy as well. Also did you see the $50 patreon? The excuse was to get early access but you also got 2 exclusive characters from it. Absolutely insane anyone spent that money on one roblox game to play a buggy early release and 2 overpowered characters.

alot of these problems have been fixed the game is noticeably better from launch the m1 hitboxes have mostly been fixed the asset loading has been fixed jiren and vegito are gonna be obtainable later in the future you cant get skins for characters you dont have anymore. the game still has alot of issues cough cough 360 block but this can all be fixed.
The reason why the hitboxes are so long is because its a mechanic like aba. Their m1s are hitboxes are the same thing, and in this new AU:R m1 combat is almost the same as ABA thats why.

everything you said changes, the hitboxes are nerfed, the battlepass characters will be free after same with other characters like jiren en vegito, cash has been added at the end, cash in the battlepass aint worth it. You will get skins on the characters you have. Private servers are still the thing but a lot of people are willing to share if u want a code just ask me.
The game did well most games just drop the idea of revamps. I understand your point about the gamepasses, but being able to unlock a roster from the battlepass seems reasonable. They should have just made it more clear, besides it would be obvious considrring how well jjk did last year

Thankfully I feel like the hotboxes have been fixed and I don't get skins from characters I don't have (I might be lucky) and they said Vegito, Jiren, and the JJK roster will be avaliable with gems and they are adding a raid mode to make gem grinding a lot easier I just feel like they need to add evasives because the only character with a evasive are luffy, and deku in awakening and in base. Im glad the bugs are very minimal and I feel like AUR can be really great if they add more characters and add evasives
Hitboxes 100% need another look at honestly, some of the beams hit you when you're clearly not touching them and m1s feel really jank.
Most of the damage and combos are just ridiculous, for one you can be at 100 and be reduced to nothing at this point add an evasive if we're gonna deal with a broken hit box and unfair balance in the characters.

Think about it bro, they set up all the gamepass/battlepass characters now because its gonna have its peak players on release. They will OBVIOUSLY drop more characters down the road, like take example the previous AU:R they would drop 2-3 characters a week.
But a lot of people were fooled sense they dident get more characters after buying dlc. Which is dumb sense a majority bought it without knowing they won’t get it know it’s coming later. If they made it so you got atleast 2 or 3 from each dlc it would be fine but 0????

Even with the updates, the game is nowhere near as balanced ass people claim it is. Firstly, They wanna make characters "manga" accurate THAT ALONE ruins a game. WE DONT WANT MANGA ACCURATE. Cause legit manga accurate is equivalent to basically making one character have the most broken sets.
The hitboxes in this game is horrid but the hitboxes in the old game were even worse and in this game it has way less characters on release than the old game they should have just closed the old game and completely remade it instead of making a new one

I’ve only watched a little of this video so far, but you can’t really expect the game to have no bugs after testing, like the m1 range. Also with the paywall yes there are the villain dlc that gives 2 characters and ryuko who is a questline, but with the battlepass, you get nobara and gojo for free so it’s really only yuta and hakari who are behind pay wall.
bro is actually trying to defend being able to m1 someone across the map, stop it. That is the main part of the damn combat, if they tested the game it shouldn't be a bug & it's that simple

We don't expect the game to be perfect with no bugs, and that's why we complain. So the developers are aware of the issues and can fix them.

@@StarryzZ_ It's roblox, much cheaper for games to work. There's literally dozens of completely free games that get lots of updates on there. With that being said, there's just too many microtransactions. 2 $5 character DLCs, 2 $5 currency DLCs, $6 for a private server, $4 for the battle pass. There's quite a lot of pay to win content here.
Now im going to defend the game.
Agrees:
1. Hitboxes for some characters are bad and insanely stupid
2. The loading does take a while but you can skip
3. Mori, Yorichi, Dio, and jotaro are op
Disagrees:
1. If you can get skins for a character you dont have you just gain free skins for when you do have them. (Besides its not difficult to get cash nor skins i started a day ago and i already have 2 legendary skins for people i have.)
2. The paywall for jiren and vegito is quite understandable due to playin the old game, but it stops people from using that darn dio. The free BP is good enough all you need to do is play the game for free two characters (for jobless people) and you can steal gift people battle pass so ask one of your friends (if you have friends) besides getting the battle pass only gives you more rewards not a gameplay advantage.
3. The game is good if you just want to play for fun (some people like competitive fighting but are bad) and for you people go to ranked.
4. A common complaint is third partying and teaming, well, again...go to ranked... (Ranked kinda carries the game for me ;-;)
It's a pretty fun game regardless of its flaws, but having so many exclusive/paywalled characters is really not a good look. Two patreon characters, six gamepass characters (though some of them haven't been made), two paid battlepass characters.
@@SpacialSpace-zc8xj sadly the easiest way to get bp and pay walled character is to have a job and the two other characters from playing the game more, and they are fan favorited but that's the only real hit to me.

Aba has the same amount of gamepasses. Also, the dlcs are worth it, they are adding more characters to the dlc, and each has 3 characters. Completely justified. The free battlepass characters are supposed to be obtains through playing the game, like every other character. Also, jiren and vegito will become free eventually. imo game is a 6/10 but it will improve.
For sure this game has massive potential and is pretty fun when it comes down to it although not a lot of the dlc is out tbf like you should atleast have the dlc made if you’re selling it imo

Half of the JJK roster is NOT locked behind a paywall and the largest character who most people want (gojo) isn't locked behind a paywall like you said. Nobara and Gojo are both part of the free battlepass and you need to do more research before talking about a game like this. While I do agree the game wasn't completely finished as there were battlepass rewards that when I tried equipping said "Not finishet yet" which was very strange as why would it be in the battlepass, but people one year ago spent 400 robux and probably more to buy levels on the battlepass just for the game to get shut down, so 2 characters is definitely not as asburd as you make it sound.
My main point was that an entire roster shouldn't be behind a battle pass. I said that jjk was locked behind paywalls and battlepasses not just paywalls lol. I even said via the paid battle pass and the free one. You need to watch the video before talking about something like this lol

One of my biggest issues right now. If the daily quest RNG blesses you, you can get two WHOLE GEMS! WOW! Only 50 days of daily quests to get that 100 gem character!

bro they're beating your ass in the comments 😭😭 idk about all that's cuz i dont play roblox anime fighting games but getting skins/items for characters you dont have is a mechanic that many games use (not just on roblox). If it wasnt like that and you could just abuse the shit out of only getting skins for characters you have then we'd go back to square of shitty game mechanics and there'd be complaints about that too. If anything i'd say it does add on to the want of getting more characters to feel like you've completed the roster but thats just me. Great vid though once again i don't play these games so i wouldn't know how accurate some of these points are but who knows maybe ill give it a try in the far far far furture when the dev continue working on it bc you did say its fairly new and already an upgrade from the og version.

I started playing this game again today, I was so excited till I saw the crappy new weird feeling combat system. I hate it, revert the changes tbh.

Good news, Vegito and Jiren are all gonna be free to obtain by using gems (Hakari and Yuta aswell after this battle pass is finished)
they are also going make a raid system so farming gems is more enjoyable than doing quests. (you can still get them by quest)
hopefully they fix hitboxes and some balancing issues (ranked is broken)

au has 9 characters that are locked behind paywall / battlepass out of the 25 character roster aba has 10 out of over 100 characters that are locked behind paywall if you wanted to buy just the gamepass characters on au reborn that around 12 dollars usd if you wanted to buy the gamepasses on aba that's around 20 usd for all of abas character gamepasses the battlepass on au costs 5 dollars usd not including tier skips also keep in mind there will be future battlepasses on top of 3 unobtainable tester characters which costs 50 because that's what the devs put as the price for tester so right now were about 67 dollars if you wanted all the au reborn gamepass characters au characters that are locked behind paywall / battlepass are good since there's such a small roster aba gamepass characters are pretty mid except goku black and broly the conclusion is that ABA is overall cheaper less pay to win has a bigger roster to combat the gamepass characters AU has small roster which 9 out of the 25 characters being locked behind paywall / battlepass/ tester AU gampass characters are good because of how little characters there are so ABA Is less p2w and overall better
