Hey Rick and Nikki, love your parade video! BEST seat in the house! Being a UOAP and watching you for years now, my family and I can ALWAYS rely upon you both for the extra insight and support when we're on our way to UO!! Thanks bunches and bunches to you both for ALL you do!!!💜💛💚🎉
Hi Rick and Nikki I wanted to share something with you. I’m not sure why your videos popped up on my UA-cam screen but it did and I watched. My wife and I had not been to Universal Studios in a very long time actually 31 years. We found your videos to be very entertaining so this past weekend Friday, March 3 we arrived at Universal Sapphire falls resort we also saw it in your video. We really enjoyed the resort and really enjoyed ourselves at universal studios and did see the Mardi Gras parade. So I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work because it paid off for us we felt like children once again. Keep up the good work.
Just want to throw it out there that many of Universal's floats are copies of new orleans floats with slight changes, (ex: Bacchagator krewe of Bacchus New Orleans) and all of them are made by Blaine Kern, who is a New Orleans native.
@Mike Dittenber the fact that universal uses Kern studios floats makes universal just feel more like home! However, there are no mounted units, high-school and university marching bands, and NOLA natives just make it more fun. In short, NOTHING BEATS NEW ORLEANS MARDI GRAS, at least not the superkrewes of BACCHUS, ORPHEUS, AND ENDYMION They are on a whole other level. However, RoyalbPacific and Velocicoaster is my home away from home!
Every night, except 3/31 this year. The people on the floats are visitors to the park. There are a few ways to get on… dine and ride package, UOAP sign up (all filled for the year), and virtual line if your in the park and spots are available
Bead necklaces. It's a tradition at Mardi Gras at Universal. As an annual pass holder for years now, it's a huge thrill for anyone whose attending! Hope you can come and join in the fun and festivities 😉 you'd love it!!
@Cliodhna Malone OMG, my husband is Irish!! 96% I DO HOPE that you get the chance to come back!! Born and raised here in Florida, let me be the first to say WELCOME, and invite you back to all the wonderful memories you can make here ❤️

@Cliodhna Malone Mardi Gras is usually the 1st week of February thru mid April. AND is included with your regular admission. The weather during this time is usually very pleasant and mild 75°F . August is generally our hottest month, up in the high 90's. Happy 🎵 Birthday 🎂 🥳 ( very early). Hope you do get a chance to visit again soon and may your travels be many and magical ✨️ 💖

the king gator one scared me!
Excellent filming angle, so job well done. The parade itself could have used some marching musicians in addition to the dancers and great floats.
all of the performers know and love rick!
10:10 for people looking for the gator float
feet dont fail me now!
Rick what did you do to your foot
love the jester outfits for the dancers , rick what happened your foot?

That’s part of the plan. Universal works with the float builders in New Orleans every year to make them as similar/authentic as possible.
