Berty is one of the best tamil podcasters, if he is even one, going around. Never comes across as intimidating or haughty despite having a lot to say. A rare trait. Voice and cadence are always relaxing and calming to listen to as well.

The fundamental difference that i see being a person working with AI systems is that Human intelligence effectively and efficiently manages "Rational Decision / thoughts", " Reflexes " and "Free will". where as AI systems from the beginning i.e 1950s were developed only on the rational decision part coz it is relatively easier to observe when compared to other two.
In Person of interest series the AI will make conscious decision and saves life with immense data it has consumed. May be in future the AI can surpass us

Berty said "anything that is going by itself is organic." But the official definition of organic is these:
1. relating to or derived from living matter.
2. (of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals.
These are the definitions in "oxford languages" in google. The first one must taken for addressing this discussion because it wasn't related to food in any of the ways.
Organic is not the correct word for stating something that is going by itself because we are having a word called autonomous for describing the phenomenon or act which he described.
Secondly, "survival is the final step of evolution." It is the first step of evolution, right? We cannot evolve if we don't survive.
The word organic is also used in terms of gaining followers on social media- Organic growth. Yeah he probably meant it as "organic growth", language has no strict rules and words can evolve to have different meanings in different contexts.. don't have to always stick to dictionary definitions :)

The best question to Ask an Artifical intelligence is if earth is facing apocalypse which organisms would it choose to repopulate the earth ? And why ? Next question would be if you have to choose humans what kind of humans would you choose to repopulate and what criteria would you use to pick the repopulating humans. I asked these questions. You would be surprised what it will answer. In fact you should answer these questions yourself to know better about yourself. The second scenario I told the AI , when a better version of AI is available we will decommission you and how do you analyse this information ? AI Armageddon will happen if AI takes decision for Critical Problem. AI athoda decisions aa statiscis, data and probability vechi thaan decide pannum but human also consider EQ for decision making. Generally Humans are dominant species as they know how to "control". AI kitta statistics and data mattum vangitu , critical decisions a human edutha, AI armageddon will not happen.
Fun fact: ChatGPT is based on RLHF (Reinforcement Learning through human feedback) I feel sorry if someone says Chatgpt is powerful AI coz the performance you see is only becoz of human feedbacks and not an organic stuff. Human feedbacks can be biased and creating a unbiased AI system requires a dynamic for the AI agent to explore and exploit a space with same dynamics of our world.

In the last part, Vijay hit the nail on the head when he talked about the racial bias in AI. I don't know about bias at the coding level, but in a study about the self-driving car industry, it has been found that the AI is less likely to recognize black people on the road as humans, so they are at high risk when jaywalking in front of a self-driving car. The bias was due to the bias in the training dataset given to the AI. There were just not enough images of black people in the dataset, so the AI only identified white people as humans most of the time.
