In today's vlog I headed (lol) to Number76 Nalu in Omotesando to get my hair cut and coloured, before popping into my favourite coffee spot in Tokyo and buying waaaaay too many nerdy knick-knacks at Kiddyland.

Making sure I go to Kiddyland when I visit Tokyo this summer!! Is it hard to go shopping if i dont know any japanese? Worried that they’ll ask me “would you like a bag?” and i wont understand FMDNFKD
Kiddyland is definitely a must visit! Most of the time shop staff would just put my things in a bag without asking - they wrap all of your shopping so nicely in Japan that it's really just part of the amazing customer service there (although you end up with a lot of packaging at the end of the day!). If you're in Tokyo, you'll get by fine with just English 😊

Going to have to take notes for next trip. Always love Ometesando. Favourite place to shop is Issey Miyake Lane (what I call it anyway!) to pick up some Please Please and Me. Then 15 mins down the road is Hakuhodo and an awesome ikebana store.

I'm a newish subscriber, and I've been living vicariously through your vlogs now that it isn't possible to go anywhere! I've been to Japan 4 times but only once to Tokyo. Tokyo didn't leave such a big impression on me compared to the other cities, but your videos are making me wanna go back and explore the places I haven't been. Hope we all get to travel to Japan again soon!

Kiddyland looks a lot more fun than I thought it was, definitely going there when I go to Japan ❤️ Also, how did you manage to take a picture of yourself with the vending machine? Did you ask a stranger or do you have a big tripod?
I always visit Kiddyland during my trips to Tokyo, it's such a fun department store! I have a little handheld tripod that can extend pretty tall, I just use that and self timer with a 'who cares who stares' attitude heheh 😂
