While we were recording Good Mourning my throat was totally fucked and it was due to several reason, things that are no longer taking an effect anymore"
@VioIentGoIdFish could just be the older songs he "screams" a lot more and sounds rougher. I believe by 08 he had his throat surgery. Maybe why is sounds different as well?

They also play tuned half a step down live. So that could be another reason for the vocals sounding different.
@EllipsysCI for sure, i wanna say he had his surgery in 03, it really did changed Matts voice.
