Nah that’s a outside perspective from someone who hasn’t lived that life, not saying it’s good to live that way, but I lived that way and did 9yrs of my life in jail and I’m 32yrs old. A lot of guys from bad neighborhoods are taught these things as children from the older generation and also 85% of the time the streets are raising kids. I was 12 yrs old with no issues or smoke with anyone when I decided to do my first robbery, my mom got me every video game, I was one of the best dressed kids in school, it was embedded in me since a child. Some people are born this way or taught this way as a child. You’re looking at it from an outside perspective, talking like a therapist. Some things can’t be understood without experiencing it. So I got 106 months in jail because a random dude in Brooklyn tried to rob me for my jacket and phone, the cops pulled up to the store where it was happening and the dude stopped and act like nothing was happening, so I ain’t say nothing to police but I left the store while police was there so I couldn’t be robbed. 2 whole years passed and I’m at a BBQ with friends and my friend says it’s some dude who keep staring at you, it was one of the dudes who tried to rob me, long story short he tried to shoot me and missed but I had a pole on me also, I hit him twice in the thigh and leg I wasn’t tryna take his life, only thing was we was at a BBQ with a bunch of people there, so I got charged with assault with a deadly weapon, possession with a firearm, endangering the public. Make a long story short, I did 9yrs because of a dumb bum ass 🥷 trying to rob me, didn’t succeed in the robbery, probably thought I was looking for him which I was but not excessively, even when I seen him at the BBQ I wasn’t gonna shoot him in my head I was thinking “it’s too many kids out here I’ll see dude another time” even tho I was temped to shoot him I left it alone but he still wanted to shoot me even tho he’s the one who tried to rob me I ain’t do shit wrong to bro until that day.
