First day it came out, got nested by a friend. There was three of us, two adults and one juvie. The second we left volcano we got swarmed by the entire server, including a dev that was there. I think it was Jaxonbird but I'll have to ask my friends again.
Yeah we quickly discovered the flaws and got reminded of how dogwater the community and devs can be. Very fun.

Honestly I don't think most tier 5s are too op. They're basically meant to be apex creatures. They are the best for pvp but if they can't two shot you then they're screwed. T5s have such slow speed that trying to actually kill small creatures is impossible unless they think your friendly.
Boreal can still defeat it ONLY if boreal is 200 elder and have certain plushies, same goes for kora and maybe Kavo, imagine this against taka, venu and golga
unless cald is also 200 and has the same plushies, specially if it also has frosbite plushies against other behemoths. after every test ive seen and done, just use anklebiters, dont throw hands with it

My biggest problem I have is that almost all the servers I was on do not do the volcano eruption event, and only one server had an eruption, but right then I joined the server and after the eruption finished, it doesn't give me a point in the mission of Caldonterrus

Many people want it but can only get it by using full mission tokens or trading, the complete 5 daily mission makes it hard to get lol.
Full missions tokens don’t work if that were the case I would’ve got it already

The problem with it is that it leaves you vulnerable to anklebiters and breath spammers, such us euvias, and minawaii and such.

It’s just skill based, if the other player knows how to strafe or something then they’ll win, if they just stand still and bite you head on the caldon will win.

i know a way how to kill this new creature - first you need at least 4 people or two to be kavos or boreals and try being beside or behind of the clad
If the Breath is not hitting the target with this creature.
You have to just max zoom in your camera, ( not all the way to first person )
It will allow you to Breath straight with maximum distance.
I always do this when fighting with this creature. It always works...
however doing this Blocks most of your view....
With phone it auto tracks to the closet creature so all I gotta do is get close and let ‘em burn

I can say this, Cald vs Kora with no attack boost traits, Kora will lose. Me and my friend did this ourselves too. Rather than play it out like a fight tho, we just stood there biting eachother till one of us got low. At the end of that fight, I (the kora) had 400 health left while my friend (the Cald) still had a bit over 2k health left. We used no abilities, just our basic attacks
How do I talk to the devs?
.. I’m really frustrated.. I’ve done all of the quests for both of the new creatures but my daily logins won’t update and it is staying at a 2/5 but I’ve been claiming the daily rewards for 5 days now..
And the event is ending tomorrow..

This thing is only gonna be my main thanks to how awesome it is because volcanic themed or ice themed creatures are just things I love. Others ofc but this one is an awesome behemoth. Only other one that could rival it for my fave is an old creature concept known as Basalooth I believe. It was a cool concept.

How is it devs create this hulking behemoth give it volcanic but not the ahiri like seriously they have volcanic to a bird that has nothing to do with living near a volcano or any lava related zones unlike the ahiri who’s literal behavior is it likes places with little to no seasonal change including volcanic zones I wish they’d just give it volcanic and buff it’s defensive stats people don’t call it the weakest tier 5 for nothing
i think it's pretty balanced actually. it does basically no damage to it's other tier 5 counter parts until you attack it, so don't hug the lava volcano and you arn't going to suffer anydamage.

Before I made this comment I killed 2 calds at the same time as a kavo. I spawn in and they chased me, but then I realized I have the weight trait and 2 damage plushies, so I turned around and used the go behind strategy sense kavo is faster then the calds and killed .
Part 2 to my first comment: then I was at half health after the fight and 3 healers healed me. I probably won because both was also young or mid elder, but they are still calds.

it’s fr a 5/10 , you can easily get killed by smaller creatures , there is almost no turn on it , you can’t use the breath.
