And possibly arriving as well. Instead of an check mig colombia error we have to worry about the follow-up emails that are noghing but an email scam. migracion colombia has put out a notice.

They definitely need to get rid of Check Mig. It was a good idea for covid control during the height of the pandemic, but now it’s just a bit over redundant. Some visitors are actually paying online companies to process a complete check Mig form from 35 dollars all the way to 100 dollars for a speedy turn around.
That's nuts. I get it to alleviate the stress, but $35 and I'll just have to get through it on my own

I stopped filling this form out, I travel to medellin every 15 days, they stopped asking me for this at MIA
the usually ask for it in colombia before they stamp your passport but this has nothing to do with check mig. it's a fake email directed at venezuelans claiming they have a pending case with immigration and are not allowed to leave the country until the case is resolved. this email/message was most likely put in circulation by the venezualan goverment that is trying to discourage venezuelans to go to the colombian/panamanian border.

I found your channel because I just paid $104 dollars to Check Mig online to leave Colombia. When I arrived to the BOG airport, I found out that other passengers didn't pay, nor did they fill out a Check Mig at all. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my money back.
Yea, there's a website that kinda uses the same name as check-mig. They caught me at first, then I thought, hell, we don't pay for this. So I went on to the correct website

Dang, this just happened to me. Scammed me 75 per person, wish I would have seen it sooner!
They charged you $75??? That's how much it costs? I thought it was like $20 or so. I'm hearing they will not reimburse it either. They're using that little disclaimer at the bottom as a get out of trouble card
@@dcbornrob yeah, so they scammed us 150 together, makes me wonder if this could be an inside job or something because they are not stopping it. We were never warn not to do it. We got an email stating we had to do it to leave the country.
We are trying to fight it with the credit card but they are being really difficult. They don’t even want to cancel the card to get a new one (capital one).

They're saying that it's still needed. I know someone that came back yesterday that had the airlines check for that and the vaccine cert

Not a good place long-term for foreigners - your constantly a target for exploitation. Come short-term and leave. Hopefully, alive 🙏
