I had thought of two ways to set up cycle and soak, but this seems even easier. I had no plans to use seasonal adjustment so this works for me. Thank you
This will kill your ability to use the "seasonal adjustment", which is a feature I use regularly... There is actually a *real* way to do this, but the instructions seem to have disappeared from the web. If you put the controller in the run position, hold the "+" button while rotating the switch to "Run Times" you will enter the "cycle" programming mode. Unfortunately, I can't remember how to get to the "soak" programming mode. :-(
This is NOT the method outlined in Hunter's X-Code manual, as rgoers implies "a real way...." I have used the access method, but can only set up cycle/soak for Program A. That's why I'm looking here, to try & find how to do it for Programs B & C (which currently, the controller will not do.) Guess I'll have to keep looking......
Mile High Slacker Yes, that looks like what I had found previously. This feature IS available on the X series controller, but not documented... probably because they want you to spend the extra $ on the C series controller.
it will only allow to get into soak menu after you have set the cycle time first. just hit the PRG button after setting the cycle duration. Tip total run time must not be less than cycle and soak times.
X-Core manual from Hunter website has the details of the Cycle and Soak function as a "Hidden" feature. www.hunterindustries.com/documents/?f[0]=im_field_product_type:227&f[1]=im_field_related_products:237
