Gather and document requirements and data for ERP reports in accordance with data governance policies. Implement, document, and test information systems. Work with customer to ensure information is targeted and enables decision making. Evaluate and analyze data to solve user information needs. It is not specific to SAP, you may need to support all the ERP inside the organization or client requirement. Again this info shared based on our experience.
Can you/anyone please answer. In SAP SRM/Ariba, any item that are added in PR/PO, Cost Center/IO/Project & GL is entered on PR/PO? Why in SAP MM, while creating PO, you are not charging against cost center and not entering any GL? Question regarding Consignment - While transferring goods from vendor consignment to buyer authority, we are not charging against cost center but while transferring the goods to production, we are charging against cost center? why is it?
If it’s Account assigned PO then you need to enter all the details like cost centre , GL account while creating purchase order. In other procurement scenarios GL account will be considered or fetched during Goods receipt from the OBYC. Incase of consignment it’s a different scenario where we pay amount or settlement after consuming the goods. As you wondering about why Cost Center is asked during the consumption of goods to production order or sales order , then you need to understand more about cost Center relation. In any business there will be cost incurred to produce some product internally then definitely that should tracked in the system , so cost Center’s are created during the implementation time with the help of Controlling team or controlling consultant support. Try to understand the business scenarios then definitely it’s easy to map into SAP system.
Hello sir. I completed B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering and working as a maintenance engineer in a steel plant for the last 14 years. Now I want to switch my career to the IT{ SAP MM) field. If this is good? I am working on the SAP HANA PM module as an end-user. PLEASE REPLY SIR
Yes you can shift. Only challenge about age difference in the team and you may find difficult to work with who are all younger than you. Try to find a role of PMO in IT side who lead SAP Projects instead of joining as an SAP MM Consultant. Try to expand your knowledge about complete process called Plan to fulfil (PM , PP and QM)
@@mechtech4946 check if any Senior Consultant who has experience of modules like PM, PP, QM can support on this. SAP PMO role we will try to create a video.
