    I loved the insight you offered about disability! Many people in the chronic illness community feel the same way. You both made a great point about making your disability a collaborative effort between you and those with whom you interact.

      Cynthia Geddes Thank you, Tita Cyndi. Yes. Collaboration is a fun way to interact with people. My mom actually showed this video to her 6th class and they concluded that these points can relate to anyone with OR without a disability. So, I can definitely see how these points can relate to the chronic illness community as well.

    Very good video once people n the community sees that u can do more then they began to get educated on how we as a bild community can still function as well as norm society just we do it differtly but always put a psotive spin on our impairment helps others really understand n have respect

Our goal with this video is to not only educate people about blindness, but to also encourage people with disabilities to be self-advocates and educators. You’re right! Keeping a positive mindset is important in getting the message across to people who don’t understand how to collaborate with the disability community.
