Both of them was like conserving energy in first half of the match, suddenly took steroids on the final half.
That heroic tank would have got the next 100 medals too if there was anymore to give

Hallucinogenic Grenades only directly affect infantry.
Rage Generator affects all within a radius.
not sure if they affect garrisoned units, think the BH cabal's grenade *can* effect a garrisoned building sometimes, seen some trickery around spike capture before.

I respect you allowing your kid to watch. When C&C first came out I remember being like 5 when my dad first played it. Grew up on it ever since. Wish they would pick up the series again and continue it.

15:32 Masterleaf attacking the refinery here is a big brain play. Refineries are worth $3,000 and units gain experience and rank up based on the amount of damage in $ they do. Units give most of their veterancy away when they are killed, whereas buildings give experience at a level rate.
For example, if you damage a refinery for 50% of its health, you gain $1,500 worth of experience.
If you damage a unit that is worth $1,500 by 50% of its health, you'll only gain a fraction of that experience.
Quick thinking by ML to see a good opportunity to get the Stealth Tank to heroic!

This is a good illustration of how Nod’s greatest strength, one that has brought it victories, is due to its use of hit and run tactics as opposed to GDI’s rigid overwhelming direct force, like a pair of daggers by an assassin being more maneuverable than a knight with a war hammer. Kane Lives!
Interestingly Leaf tries to turn every faction into a hit-and-run one, with ZOCOM orcas, mutant Ox MRTs, call-for-transport shatterers, T59 ravagers, blink pack shock troopers, etc. Also that time where he snuck single mammoth tanks into the opponents base while they were occupied just to poke around.
The factions least suited to hit-and-run, Steel Talons and Reaper-17 with their heavy ground units, are the ones he least plays.
That stelth tank was frustrating. I hated it and i wasnt even plating lol

16:20 wth is wrong with that stealth tank healing rate, that's super broken
Stealth Tanks don't have very much health. The healing rate of heroic units is constant across each unit. Heroic Stealth Tanks and Bikes will appear to heal really quickly because they have such low HP, whereas a heroic MARV with no engineer garrisons will heal quite slowly.

I always found it weird that Steel Talons have tech from 2nd TibWar like Titans and Wolverines, when they were supposed to the ones who use experimental tech and that ZOCOM are the hard ass veterans but for some reason, Railgun upgrade is not available to them, despite using nearly the same tech as GDI and Titans can be upgraded with Railguns.

@@microqueen69 Red zones are unstable they have like storms, mutants, radioactivity etc... Sonic weapons can clear tiberium fields and are effective against scrins and other tiberium like anomalies. That's why zocom have zorcas, zocom raiders, sonic grenades etc... They also have the tiberium field suits.
@@simonpitre7978 hella late but to add to this redzones have a huge kane following typically to or as he said a lot of unstable smaller factions or people in general who hate gdi (gdi is run of top 20% countries or sum like tht involving the top 20% of world wealth or power) so its highly likely they can get sabotaged, ambushed, suicide bombed ect so its just way more cost effective

Drive should've invested into emp grenades. Never underestimate a full vet stealth tank.
EMP grenades against a Stealth Tank being micro'd by Masterleaf? If Drive wanted to miss every single time, going EMP grenades would have been a good decision
@@Interphased You underestimate random luck. If you anticipate pathing/opponent decision making, you can definitely hit it a few times. And just one hit might be all you ever need.
You saw how well Masterleaf was controlling to always pick off the units on the edge of Drive's army, right? I'd be confident in saying the reason Drive didn't build EMP grenadiers was because he knew it was pointless.
@@Interphased Yeah, maybe. Could of at least tried it once or twice when he still got the armory up. Sold it pretty quick though. I might've been blind, but at some point he actually had two squads I think. They got annihilated by a obelisk before doing anything though, haha.
