Then must tell you that I was about to open my Galaxy A 23 Mobile as it was not Fast Charging at all. Only normal charging was happening. This just fixed the fast charging issue with my Samsung Galaxy A71. Even thought fast charging was turned on, it wouldn't fast charge. I followed all 3 steps, and after turning my phone back on after the final step, then it began fast charging again! Thank you, so much! 🙂

I've tried everything. What fixed mine is taking a toothbrush to my charging port, cleaned it gently , and I also have a can of compressed air I blew in it

i just updated software and my phone has been charging for 3 hours without being plugged out and it only has 27% , i charged it all night last night since 10pm until 9am this morning and it only had 58%.. its like i have to charge it 2 days straight to get full charge what.

Bro like 5hrs ago my phone was charging normally and it says "Fast charging 1 hour and 35 mins until full charge" like any normal day charging my phone but now suddenly when i plug the charger its says only "4hrs and 25mins until full charge" this happened outta nowhere bruh and i checked the Fast charging option and its on Whyyy?? I watched this video, followed your instructions (i have a 2019 samsung galaxy A20) but now my phone wont take s charge from my portable battery pack? Also phone still not fast charging when plugged into wall outlet but thats besides the point now. I dont evem care about it not fast charging, now i care about why all of a sudden my phone wont accept a charge from my battery pack! Please, can you shed any light on my situation?

IT DOESNT WORK FOR ME
Been trying to avoid original charger & cable as is inconvinient for me to order 'em with lots of fakes out there
My device is SM-A115F
From my experience using 3rd party charger & cable, there's fast charging problem with USB-C to USB-C cable
- USB-C to USB-C WILL NOT able to do fast charge
- USB-A to USB-C will enable fast charge by itself*
3A cable (minimum requirements), but some just wont work for me (stuck 1.5A with 5V 3A cable)
5~6A cable is your best bet
Though it's still limited to 10W fast charging in my case, atleast it's working now & I can dispose my old burned unsafe cable
My burned cable still support fast charge & working quite normal under those conditions 😰
Here's my current charger + cable combo
A bit overkill for SM-A115F but I may use it for my other devices too
Charger:
- Input 100-240V~50/60Hz 1.0A MAX
- Output USB 5V=3A 9V=2A 10V=2.25A
- Output Type-C 5V=3A 9V=3A 12V=2.5A 15V=2A 20V=1.5A
Cable:
- USB-A to USB-C 6A cable (66W max)
- USB-C to USB-C 5A cable (100W max) and this doesnt work 🤣
Also, beware when buying 3rd party charger as some cheaper alternative often have bad quality (sometimes with overheating issue)
Famous brand are also overpriced (for me), but they are safe bet
As for cable
ugreen or essager are quite good, or u can also use cable from same brand of ur choice of charger

Remember when Apple was having the same issue?
Apple later came out and said they did it for whatever lame reason they had. But really, it's to force you to upgrade your phone. If your current 1 or 2 generation phone is working perfectly fine and still performs then there's no reason to get the newest version. So they purposely code bugs into your software update so you'd think your phone is going bad so you'll buy their new phone.
Same trick, different brand.
You have to use original samsung charger, otherwise its not working with others, I have the a52 4g
The problem im having no many how many charging cables i but my phone rejects it the chargers are always brand new

@@cameron4994 yea and nope. It was charger port. Then it wasn't I got it fixed once then everything was okay then fucked. So had no choice but buy new phone. My guess they fixed it enough to work then it would 'break so I have to go back get then fix it scam' why I think that they asked if I need it fixed again I was like wait a minute looked at them and thought only for thre secs then said nope it's still working u did a good job just see their reaction which shown they did something.

Doesnt work. Although the reset battery option is there on the Galaxy A14 5G phone it just doesnt do anything.

I bought Samsung because I want the camera . But got many problems like Fast Charging keep changing to Cable Charge only .It just start happen few days ago till now. And also sometimes it shows warn that there is humidity in the usb port or usb cable. Because of this i spent more money to buy new usb cable and charger, but the problem still exist. How stupid it is. Before this i Used Xiaomi for almost 4 years never face this problem . I've used Oppo for 3 years before that, Huawei and Sony Xperia for 2 years and then Samsung. For me the best brand is Xiaomi and Sony. So next I'll just stick to these brand.
Seems like it's not a problem with the phone but with the new update. I bought 2 chargers so far thinking it was the chargers problem but after researching I realize it was the new update, I don't think it's affecting the charging speed tho, it's just the notification says cable instead of fast.

Didn't work for me either. I have the 22 ultra and ever-increasing the security update a couple months ago super fast charging hasn't worked.
@@lokilos8639 same... i have the s22 ultra and noticed this issue as of last week. Not sure when that update occured was it last month? weird because sometimes it will work sometimes it will not. depends if i try these methods and plugging it in after a restart but then it goes back to charging. definitely a software issue... kept cleaning the port thinking it was dirty even though looked clean

@@ghoulexes so i found out after reading on reddit and other Android forums... The fast charging still works.. but it will only say "charging" now. To see if it is really fast or not.. click on the charging icon when you bring down your notifications and it will take you to battery settings and you will see it say (fast charging) if it is a fast charger. Yes this step is annoying but at least we know our phones still fast charge and super fast charge. It just doesn't say it on the front screen anymore and i think google did that on purpose or Samsung not sure
