That Devin Gold’s sluice is no joke!!! It’s the closest thing I’ve seen to shaker table results without the $10k price tag. Great video showing solid time saving technique with maximum yield.
The Devin Gold sluice is my “Go To” for the Super fine flour gold. It’s one of the first sluice I ever purchased. Do you own a shaker table? I’m waiting for somebody to develop a reasonably priced one ( < $500).
There was a part of a video that ill never forget, featuring George " Buzzard" Massie president of the GPAA, back in the 1990s. He was up in gold county here in California when we could still use dredges in the rivers and streams, doing a dredging demo video and said " most people run their dredges to fast, so they miss a lot of flour gold". Which basically means you have to give the flour gold time to settle out. If your water is running fast, that gold races past the riffles and everything else. And just so you know... The bulk of the gold up in the Mother Load is flour gold. That's were the money's at. 😎
Thank you for posting this because I have been wondering how to get baby fines out. I need my 10x louoe to even really see more than a sparkle in my pan. I figure if I can learn this, all other panning will be easy peasy! The tube sand had mini flours like maybe 12 per cup of sand I have panned so far? I'm saving my concentrates because I have no idea yet how to isolate the gold from the cons. People can show me how to bump, tap, wiggle and swirl all day long but when I try the heavies just move around the pan with the gold. Do you have any suggestions for doing the final step in a typical shaped pan?
I have no problem with flour gold, which is what I mostly get. Flour gold accumulates nicely. I’ve heard that Pennsylvania has some really nice gold. I hope to head up there someday and check it out.
@@GetTheGold777yes. PA has a little bit here and there based on the geology. I mainly prospect in the Buckingham area of VA. Keep up the awesome vidoes and may your pan hold some shiny for your efforts!!!

I do find flour gold most of the time. Still, I would LOVE to find a nugget. Is that asking too much? 😄
Ha! This is the sand I bought this week. To pan. 😬 Maine wasn't giving me enough practice with real gold lol.

Did you put a surfactant in your panning tub water to prevent the gold from floating? It really makes a difference. Even the lightest cold will drop.
Nice video. I live in PA near Gettysburg. All flour gold by me.

Basically a mini High Banker
The mini-monster is a mini high-banker. It's quiet because it runs on a battery.
