Nice Playing! I'm having trouble with latency with my X1. I loaded up Amped Roots on my computer and the latency is really bad. How did you get yours so clean?
HI you cannot do that because theres no way to bypass or disable the cab sim that comes on the Vypyr when is connected via USB. Is not a dry signal of the amp its pre balanced signal. Thanks for the comment.
Is it possible to use the cab while cotroling the sound panel through usb? My amp is on the far end of the studio i want to reamp while trying different settings while riunning DI signal through a reamping preamp from Cubase. I don’t want to walk over and tweak while checking track in the mix.
@@solomonicdemons680 thanks, I feared that. still hoping that a firmware update might fix that so that it could be controlled by software. It's very bad when using Cubase in Windows, because it would force us to switch off our default soundcard (with many inputs and outputs) in order to capture the sound. not user friendly at all! I really don't like the idea of disconnecting USB while in a Cubase session.
Awesome stuff! I record with USB just because I can play with headphones on! You can't do that when microphone recording ...
I did not expect to like the usb so much better! 😮

I wonder if the USB-recorded sound would be more accurate if you put it through a cabinet impulse response in the DAW?

No unfortunately the amp mutes when you connect the usb out. Now you cannot remove the cabinet even if it's mute. Thanks for the comment.

how to improve the sound of the peavey vypyr x2 combo?😅
I think the best Way should be changing the speaker upgrading to a celestion vintage 30 or eminence legend will be a good alternative
