It seems like this has gone completely over the heads of most commenters here.

However, what people are pointing out is that he has a pretty decent life, what with being able to afford a car and a house, along with Co workers that try to be friendly with him and a boss that acknowledges his work. Which most people don't have.
Moreover, it's likely that he gains good money. The problem here... It's him. His refusal to go beyond his usual routine is no one's fault but his own, hence why people don't sympathize with him. He has a chance to do something about it, but chooses not to. He has the chance to have friends but is too busy sulking.

The thing I like about the doomer memes and wojaks is that you can replace the specifics, and the feel is the same. His job, where he lives, The music he listens to, whether it's anime music, or video game music, it all shares the same thing. They're ways of escaping reality, in those waking moments, when you're fully conscious of whats around you, and you're gradually changing life. By fixating on the past. On the good ole days. He wants to escape reality. Not because he believes the world is all bad, or that there isn't any good out there for him to find. But that he will fail trying to find it. And only sink deeper into his hole. So to avoid failing. He stops playing the game. All the while hoping that he'll wake up, and have what he longs for, not happiness or a good job, a loving wife, or even success. But drive. The drive to be more than what he is. He's a unwilling protagonist. Who wishes desperately to be something because he chooses too. This is almost contradictory in a way. He wants to have the strength and passion to do something, searching for that passion, chasing it down. But doesn't want to, because he knows doing so, may lead to failure. He doubts himself, all the while knowing he can do it. This is what he ultimately wants to escape. Something he never can. His own conscience. Himself. His own judgment. Which is why he seeks to relive the past, Because thats the only thing that can satiate his mind. A time before he "grew up". But that doesn't mean we can't make it bros. We all can. We just gotta face our fears. Ourselves.

    scarily accurate.
If you feel trapped in life like this, take inventory of your resources, figure out what you're working with. What sources of power you can tap into. Check your spending and form a balance sheet, figure out your income, assets and liabilities. Determine how much free time you have and how much money you need to survive. Often you might think that you have to work more hours a month to have more money, but it it is usually your lifestyle and spending. If its that you feel too tired after work it might be time to find a different job, fix your sleeping or improve your diet + exercise, perhaps all of the above.
Once you have established the rules of your game and its constraints, you have taken the first step to getting yourself out of such a problem- by identifying the problem and understanding it.
In life preparation is key. The more you prepare for things possibly going wrong in the future, the less setbacks you have, as you find yourself masterfully deflecting problems life throws at you.
"luck is where preparation meets opportunity"- Seneca

Being "prepared" requires a surreal level of discernment. Being able to see right fro. The start that you're co.pletely doomed and nothing good's ever gonna happen to you and that you need to fucking wake up and stop with the wishful thinking. I requires reconciling yourself as a loser before life shows you. It require ending all your hopes before life does. And this is something most people aren't able off. Especially young people, we're naturally hopeful even the most negative of us is somewhat hopeful.

One day my boss had bullied me so much that when I thought he had left. I broke down in tears. He bullied me for maybe 5 months, everyhing I did was never good enough even my coworkers left but I stayed. He saw me and asked what was wrong. I told him how it was and he said nothing. @@Alex-vz2jz you can take classes to be a welder. That’s what I did. It’s also possible to take a low paying production line job because they’ll teach you on the job. However you only learn MIG welding. Classes at least you can be certified in everything and have more options. What counts as entry level also changes for you. Instead of staring at minimum wage, you could start around $15-20 and hour. I also recommend specializing in something like pipe or a specific material or process. I do aluminum TIG welding which is a bit harder and has fewer people, but more demand.

I can relate to this, although the job title is different. Doomer is not complaining about anything. He is thankful about his car, job and overall condition, even though it may not seem so. Doomer wants to feel and do something different. He doesn't like the normal routine of waking up and already know how the day is going to go. That's why he's listening eurobeat while driving to feel something, buying a more exotic car to make driving more enjoyable, drink beer at the evening to feel something before going to bed and waking up into totally similar day than the day before. The problem is that at some point you don't know what to do and what motivates you. Changing routines is impossible, because there is not much else you could do and if there would be, the new thing would eventually be part of your routines in the future. Anons he's referring to are the people, that seem to be happy just to work and exist. He thinks anons do not have high dreams and are totally happy to live like they do now. Doomer wants to think that he's better than anons, while also knowing that he's becoming a part of the gray mass. And there is realistically nothing he could do about it.

idk why you guys think this guy has it made he spends all of his time working and misses being free like he was in highschool and it wouldnt be so bad if everyone didnt leave him and he had someone to relate too but he just lives alone and remembers the good old days when things had meaning.

Failure to prepare is preparing for failure. Living in the moment is a fun idea, but not realizing that it's unsustainable early enough is guaranteed failure.
