I think since it's Channel 3's first GL series, especially shown on national TV, they wanted to test things out first. The good response though will for sure make Channel 3 give them more projects together in the future.

Yes! Ship the show characters, not the actual actresses. I have to say these a lot of times. I'm gay but I don't go around expecting GL show pairings to date in real life.
