Hi Harry. I am using dissolved BioGold every week and Green Tiger once in a 4 -6 weeks.. I would like to try Oceana. Shall I use both of them at the same time or maybe only Oceana? Thank you
What, if any, is the difference between Oceana's 2 fertilisers? One seems to be a regular and the other aimed at roots but the ingredients appear to be very similar.
Hi Harry, thanks for sharing. I've got a few questions please; 1. When will you do the last fees of the year with this method? 2. Would you recommend this for trees in growth development like pre bonsai being grown for a large trunk? Thank you, Alex
No, the various components just sit within the soil mass. I guess it’s possible for some to flush out of the pot if you watered heavily for a prolonged period of time….so don’t! :)
@@charlybilloir9048 hi 👋 Biogold won’t harm a pine or any other tree (as far as I know), but it does contain hydrogen peroxide amongst other chemicals. It’s not truly organic.
Welcome back Harry! We missed you a lot! Waiting for more carving transformations :)
Thank you! I’m aiming to release a series of shorter videos that I can film and process on my phone (as with this one) in considerably less time
Thanks for the upload Harry 🙏
Thank sharing Bonsai friend ❤️👍
Heya Harry! Good to see you make vids again! Will you be at EBA Next weekend? Looking forward to seeing you there mate!
I had hoped to mate, but life is too busy here atm
@@bonsai4me2 ohw.. shoop. That is such a disappointment. Was looking forward to catch up. Trophy it is then!
@@GrowingBonsai there were a few people I had wanted to see :/ but see you at The Trophy!!

I would just use Oceana, it has everything you need and the BioGold has a chemical element to it

Mantap bonsai nya👍

I keep going until mid-autumn, when day temps fall below 12C
I use for all trees including pre-bonsai.
Does this also work with regular fertilizer like biogold or other well known fertilizers?
Yes it does although BioGold and Naruko are not free of chemicals.
Harry is there such a fertiliser with a NPK of 10.10.10
Not that I know of or recollect
Does the fertilizer washed out of the soil faster if applied this way (semi-liquid)?

❤❤❤❤
Is this all you use? Currently I give sea weed (super thrive) till June then bio gold
Yes, Oceana contains seaweed and kelp already. BioGold is very good but has chemicals in it and is not truly organic.
@@bonsai4me2 really?! I did not know that! So Biogold should not be recommanded for pines, innit?

Hi Harry, roughly what ratio of pellet to water are you mixing please?
No science to it Dale, just enough to turn it into a slurry
Spot on, thanks Harry
@@bonsai4me2 isn't there a risk of over fertilizing ? Not questioning your method 👍🙂
@@terryc8674 it’s impossible to over fertilise with organic fert alone
Harry can you soak the granules overnight in a miracle grow container that attaches to your hose?
Don’t try it mate, it really will block things up!!
@@bonsai4me2 Thanks 👍
Another quick one once you have made the soup will it last in a sealed container or is it preferable to make fresh?
@@briankavanagh7191 it will keep in a sealed container ;)
That hose on the last tree was pretty powerful, how does the soil not fall off 😂 mine fall off even with the lightest of spray
Ha! Always water the soil upto the trunk, to water the sides or back, move the hose around the tree
