I binged this drama in two days and… there’s an air of melancholy to absolutely everything that happens, especially in these last two episodes, the happy scenes only serve to emphasize how much will be lost when he dies. These are all such well written and captivating characters who are clearly… hurt and damaged but have still managed to love and create their own little family that isn’t “normal” but is still full of love. Another thing that really hurts is the knowledge that Hae-Jo is the central figure of the family, he’s the one that introduced Jae-mi, Bong-suk, and Kkari to each other.
