What Erica told Chris was a partial truth. She did leave Bianca alone with Fields when she brought Bianca to Pine Valley from Seattle. She knew what Erica said about her father, but didn’t believe it until she saw it for herself later on.

However, Fields comes by, tries to get in, can't, and asks Kendall why the door is locked to her room. Bianca answers and Fields convinced Bianca he's safe by introducing himself as Kendall's father -- Bianca didn't know what that meant yet :(

I think Erica and Kendall's relationship was complex -- I think even before their reconciliation and amidst all the anger and resentment, Erica ultimately did care for Kendall despite everything (in a Feb 1994 ep, Erica said she cared about Kendall very deeply, wanting her to have a full life when she gave her up), but Erica could never get past Kendall's association to the rape before dealing with it herself, preventing that love. I think the rape was like this horrible noxious cloud over their relationship and there were times when little parts of that cloud lifted wrt Erica and Kendall's feelings for each other before they made up for good. Like in the 90s with SMG's Kendall, I remember there was a time in December 1993 that Erica tells Mona she felt a maternal urge to protect Kendall when she saw Dimitri shaking her. Erica and Kendall's '95 farewell, Erica's admitted sadness over Kendall's departure, Kendall being devastated to think that Erica died when she fell in '95, Kendall's farewell letter to Erica, Erica calling Alice to help Kendall when Kendall went to jail, the '93 wedding, etc. AM is an awesome Kendall but SMG played her so well too, with so many layers. Anyway, and then in the 00s, with AM's Kendall, the Fusion/Michael Cambias storyline really started to bring Kendall and Erica together and I think Erica did start to really love Kendall sometime in '03 but that cloud over their relationship never lifted until Erica started receiving treatment for her PTSD from the rape.
