    I throat sung in the Kargyraa style only once... I was on 7gs of magic mushrooms but they weren't very potent. It's as if they gave me the gift to throat sing to compensate

      That's kind of sad... Mushrooms, LSD and other psychedelics are just illusoric shortcuts. Mostly you think you know something but it's only illusion. To truly learn something you need to take a road and put honest work to it.

      @sig6056 He actually singing with words, it's not hard to learn, he is engaging his false vocal chords, you know that sound you make when you clear your throat? That is your false VC, try doing it, then practice making it longer bit by bit, then you will be able to do Kargyraa no problem.

      As a lifelong singer, I can’t for the life of me figure out kargyraa. I thought I had it once but it was causing irritation, which suggested to me that I was doing it wrong. Sygyt is my jam, but I want to learn kargyraa

    • @keol9920
      @keol9920 2 роки тому +2

      @@chcknpie04 That's so weird for me. I got Kargyraa in literally 5 minutes, Khoomei not too long either, although I'm much, much better at Kargyraa, which at this point feels natural to me and I can do multiple variations and sounds at any volume. Sygyt, however, I simply cannot understand. I've seen countless videos, watching and rewatching Alex Glenfield's videos multiple times, and nothing. Actually, not nothing, but extremely little, barely worth mentioning, and I can't get it to work.
      I got Kargyraa just by reading some dude saying "think clearing your throat", and got it after a couple times. It's on your upper throat, around the uvula, for me, at least.

    I am always moved by the thought that Giacomo Leopardi, when he wrote the "Canto notturno di un pastore errante nell'Asia", had probably read the accounts of explorers who had heard this. This music is one of the most beautiful things you can hear, I find it "meditative", I'm not surprised a lady in the audience closes her eyes while listening.

    It is believed by many ancient civilizations, throat singing was the voice of God, the Gods could not speak like we do. Some had no mouths, some had the heads of animals like the Cenocephyli, some had mandible, some chose silence. It was the first man who had the perfect form, and vibration to announce the sound of the universe, Aum.

      I can reach D1 but there are people that can go even lower, like Lyron Peled from Libia
