Awesome video man I found out about you from watching that E4 electric guy, I was just noticing you average to87 wheel hours per mile, that seems really good I average 239 in a model three with one motor so that just seems really good and efficient to me considering you can punch the pedal and almost take off into space.

What is your full power? How many launches at full power do you all get before the power is reduced? I live at San Francisco and the weather is not usually that hot either, ~70
So long as the car is in either ludicrous plus or ludicrous plus with warp mode you can use launch control. When you are ready to do it, come to a stop and press the pedal down all the way (hard), then push the accellerator all the down, then it will activate. After that you have about 2 seconds to release the break, and then when you do, AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@SoCalMikey Great question. It will stay on the entire time you are driving, plus for a while after you get out if you don't turn it off. I don't know exactly how long it will stay on once you are out of the car but it's hour(s). I have turned on warp mode at 9am to heat the battery so that when I went to lunch at noon it would still be at max battery temp and it is was.

But what is strange is, that the Tesla needs 2.3 seconds from 0-60 mph and then another 8.3 seconds from 60-124 mph, according to the quartermile time of 10.7 seconds at 125 mph. Seems like they have to reduce power output because otherwise they'd be overheating the batteries.
I run 10.5’s at 125-127 mph. It’s not so much a over heating on a 10 second run, but it is maximum power they can get from the battery at the top end of acceleration. It is all 1 gear ⚙️

…it would have been nice if Tesla just could replace the rear higher output motor for original Model 3 Performance owners…so to get a 100 horsepower boost for a fraction of buying a new car…

IT does matter because warp mode puts added wear on the drive unit, but most people who had P100DL's didn't use warp mode more than a few times. I'm an outlier that has used it several hundred.

Will this damage the battery and eventually cripple your EV?
It limits the temperature to a range that is still safe for the battery so it is ok. It doesn't allow you to push it to the "danger zone" so to speak.

Are you high? The Challenger Hellcat Redeye has a 3.4 0-60 and a 10.8 1/4 mile. I've put up a 10.4 quarter and I run consistent 2.3 0-60's.
Also, despite the "menacing sound" of the hell cat, I still win the 0-60 and quarter mile so.... :)
