"Hourglass with more sand in the bottom" may be the best ever curvy description I have heard!!! The jeans are great, something about the black cardi I do not love. But for both pieces? If you are tugging at them, they need to go back (or size up on the cardi). You can go back in your order history to see what those shoes were that she suggested. But I agree - the flats look good with the jeans. And totally agree - joggers are not meant to be flattering, more for comfort. The black look nice to me - I would not size up. I have had all tops/no bottoms without requesting for sure! Thanks for sharing. I think your wrap-up choices make perfect sense.
Hi Linda! I tried to size up on the joggers, but an XL was no longer available. I'm able to exchange the cardigan for a large, though. So that's a win!
I agree with you, I prefer that any drawstrings match the fabric of the item. But not a deal breaker. For the comfy level, I would size up in the black joggers. I liked the cardigan. But, if you are going to wear it open, over another top, I would size up. Not sure about the rust colored joggers. Jeans, I have to love them and they have to fill a gap to keep. I have never got 3 bottoms in a fix before. The red shoes, I can’t get away with ballet flats with hardly any soles. I am just to hard on my shoes. If they fill a need for you, they may be fun to have over the holidays. Enjoy making you final picks.
Hey Lynne! 💜 I tried to exchange the joggers for an extra large, but they were out of stock. I was able to exchange the cardigan for a large, though. Everything else went back!
That box didn't seem weird to me at all; I get random things that don't go together and it's fine because I have other clothes to mix and match and imagine outfits with. They send five pieces, not five coordinating pieces. 🤷♀I think they are limited by whatever inventory happens to be in the warehouse your Fix ships from, which is probably even lower now because of that sale. My stylists don't mention every piece and explain why they included it in their notes, either. I have gotten a few different stylists lately. It's frustrating when they ask and you say you'd like to keep your stylist and they give you whoever is handy anyway.
Hi Kristen! 💜 Because I'd never received 3 bottoms before or a lack of pieces to make outfits, it was unusual for me. I'm sure the stylist is limited to items from whichever warehouse is assigned to that client. (Indianapolis, in my case) Thanks oodles for taking the time to watch and comment!! 🥰
Hi Nancy Anne!! This was a weird grouping for sure! But when you came out in the first outfit- gorgeous!! I love the sweater and always admire your gorgeous hourglass figure(more sand in the bottom cracked me up!!) But I have personally learned a little thing that bothers you in the beginning, starts to really be annoying later on, so maybe try sizing up in that adorable cardigan. Are the joggers that type that stretch out as you wear them? I thought they looked good in the large, but being they are comfy wear for home, you need to be comfortable. Sorry I’m a day late. Filming day yesterday and just never got a chance! Always great to start my day off with you and thanks so much for the shout out!🥰🥰
Hey Tina! 💜 I am indeed exchanging that cute, soft cardigan for a large. Like you said, over time, I'll just be happier with it. I was so bummed that the XL in the joggers is no longer available! They are fantastic, but to feel truly comfortable, I need them to fit less like leggings. 🤣 No worries about commenting today. I certainly understand being out of time- especially during the Christmas season! Have a blessed Friday, my friend!!
Hey you! I’ve had a wee rad through the comments and see you only got to keep the cardi but sized up. I liked the style on you, infact I liked the size but if you were planning on wearing it with more under it then the size up was better. Shame about the joggers, they looked nice, I actually liked them both. The brick colour looked great with the black top and the slimmer style suited you… I’m glad you managed to keep something from the fix and it wasn’t a total bust! I’ve had an email from stitch fix who have gone bust here recommending a company they have sourced to keep their former clients in clothing subscriptions. More pieces and no fee, they have been running for 11 years in Europe and seem to be very successful. I’m going to give them a try and see if they have some good pieces, might as well, won’t cost me anything! … sending big love and hugs 🤗😘
Hey there again!! I think I've seen reviews on that company, but am drawing a blank on the nane..... Lookie Lou? Am I close? Or stupidly off? I'm waiting on the cardigan now! I feel good about upsizing!
Hi MaryAnn! 💜 I would have really loved those joggers in an extra large, but unfortunately, they weren't available. I am able to exchange the sweater for a large, though!
I absolutely love that first outfit you put together with the jeans, black cardigan, and flats with your shirt. You should get all three pieces and wear it exactly like that. Pretty.
I like the black cardigan on you. I don't think you need to change the size. The joggers, well you sound hesitant, so there is no reason to keep it, if you are not sure. I love how the shoes look on you, but if you don't need them, no point of hanging on to them. The black joggers look great. I don't think you need to size up, unless you want them to fit way more loosly. But you do have decent curves, no need to hide them, quite the opposite
@@nancyannesunboxings Ah oh well, it's a shame that they are not availible in your prefered size, but maybe you find even better ones. Sometimes it just takes a bit of time to find a piece you really love
Hi Nancy Anne, I thought the joggers looked good. That cardi would look great with one size up. I going up to Minneapolis to say goodbye to my precious mom in the morning (from Phoenix), so Im watching my comfort videos, which includes you. Have a beautiful Christmas 🎄 Lynn
@surpriseitsus9622 Wonderful! Having a name helps me pray more specifically. And you are Lynn, correct? (I'm sorry, I don't remember for sure. I tend to struggle with names a bit.)
I have an hourglass shape and..."athletic quads." When pants are too tight on my quads, they pull the jeans/pants down. I usually have to belt anything that fits that way. I'll keep them if I've gotten them on Poshmark or something, but at full price, no. Sorry about the different stylist. Stitchfix works so well when you have a consistent stylist.
Hi Nancy Ann. Yea I remember you got a pair of black flats a couple months ago if that’s what she means about shoes. I love the cardigan and clean jeans perhaps size down or wear a belt if ya love them. The cardigan looks great from watching the video but you know how it feels on to size up will it shrink? I like the joggers too but I’m like you I want a slouchy pair for comfort. Good luck glad to see you.
Hey Susan! 💜 I was so bummed that the joggers are out of stock in anything bigger than a Large! But I was able to exchange the cardigan for the next size, so I'm happy about that. 🙂
Hey, yvonda! Unfortunately, the yummy soft black joggers are not available in an extra large. So they are going back. however, I am able to exchange the card again for a size large. So that was a win!
Hi Shannon! 💜 I would have absolutely loved these joggers in an extra large, but none were available. So they are going back. I was able to exchange the cardigan for a larger size, though. So that's a win!
Hey there! 💜 I checked on Freestyle, and the only other color those joggers came in was a green, I believe. I'm hoping I can get my regular stylist next time.
I agree, Sandy! 💜 Tried to size up in the joggers, but they weren't available. The cardigan in a Large is on it's way, even though they haven't received the medium yet. 🙂
Hi Nancy! Yes, the black cardigan is super cute! But I would say if you're tugging at it at all, to go up to a large so you're more comfortable wearing it 🙂❤ So glad to see another video from you today!!
Hi 😊 loving your green cardigan! Super pretty color on you. I would definitely go up in the black one. Also, joggers aren't supposed to fit like leggings, so go up. Tfs and have a super wonderful day!
Hi Petra! 💜 I tried to size up on the joggers, but they aren't available in an extra large, unfortunately. I'm bummed! The cardigain I'm able to exchange for a large. At least that's a win!
Hi Nancy! Be careful ordering joggers too large. You might get a 'diaper bum' if they are too large. Plus most stretch out as we wear them. I own MANY pairs!😆 Try Gap for size tall joggers. I would jump on freestyle and order the Glyder joggers you really wanted. My softest sweatshirt- it feels like a heavy silk, is from Glyder! It is yummy!❤
Hi Lisa! 💜 I really do feel these joggers are too tight, even if they stretch out. And unfortunately, they're not available in an extra large, so they're going back. I'll keep my eye out for Glyder joggers in the future, though! They are ridiculously soft and comfortable. I am able to exchange that sweater for a large, so that's at least a win! 🙂
Have you tried Old Navy for joggers?? I love mine and I have problems finding ones that fit too. Love the cardigan. The joggers would be ok if just wearing around the house. But otherwise this is a strange box.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this box odd, Deborah. 🤣 Thank you for the tip on joggers! These were just so soft and LONG enough that I was really hoping to exchange for an XL!
From my experience with SF, receiving a box of random items is the norm. None of my "stylists" has ever sent me outfits, even though that's what I request every time. If you've received outfits you're lucky! I like my joggers to fit a little loose. The black ones were too pricey IMO (there are lots of joggers out there) and the rust are just an odd color to style. Maybe exchange the black sweater for the larger size if you feel it's pulling...couldn't see it on our end. I took advantage of the 25% off sale!
Hi Melissa! 💜 I'm bummed because the 25% off sale is over! Oh, well. the black joggers weren't available in an extra large anyhow. They really were tighter than what I prefer. I was able to exchange the cardigan for a large, though. 🙂
I didn't like seeing all the bottoms. Madewell is a good brand, but for that price, I would have a hard time paying that. My thought is cotton is cotton...lol I would ger bugger on the sweater because it would shrink a little...
I try not to be too hard on SF stylists. I'm sure they are overworked and underpaid. That cardigan was lovely, I wouldn't size up. Agreed, that was a weird box and funny no explanations of why things were included. 2 "fixes" ago, I asked for lightweight "sweaters" and I got chunky, heavyweight, sweaters. My last box I asked for lightweight "knit" tops, hoping for something more along the lines of what I was looking for. I got 3 blouses. ??? Plus I got skinny jeans, which in my profile I've stated I don't want. I sent it all back and have a quick Fix on its way to me now. My Stylepass was renewed in October. I doubt they'll renew it again and I still have my $49 credit.
Hi Diane! 💜 I imagine the stylist was in a hurry when she styled me. And I am able to size up on the cardigan, so that's a win! My Style Pass renews at the end of January, so I don't believe I'll have it again. I think they are discontinuing the program at the beginning of 2024.
Rust joggers make your hips look bigger than they are. You’ve got an adorable figure. I don’t like anything in this box except maybe the shoes. Just saying
