This was one of the most hardest topics to tackle but I am glad that it was finally done so that we woman would know that there's no shame in owning our bodies and standing firm in our decisions.
I am not judging anyone regarding abortion. But i feel abortion is not a problem, the problem is what happens and leads you to want to abort. 1st question would be if we are not ready to deal with the consequences of sex, why not abstain or atleast be on contraceptives full time? I mean unprotected sex doesnt only impregnate but also transmit STI's and that we cant abort. I think we undermine the lack of sex education in our lives as we think we know it all. But we dont.
I realise that mistakes happen but if someone has up to 9 abortions i feel thats just reckless. If ure sexually active there are lots of long term birth control options available. Also having unprotected sex with multiple partners is putting your health at risk. Thanks for the topic though.
Chipo Mutasa you are being judgemental. Dont impose your beliefs on someone else. Everybody lives their own truth. Live yours and let everyone else live theirs. You who has no sin cast the first stone.

Indeed because there is such a thing as contraception, way cheaper, safer and less psychologically tormenting. But at the end of the day, we can only leave these matters to God. It’s sad though
i was impregnated twice by the same person,guys don't care and you live with the guilt alone, I'm being judged to this day by my family.i feel so guilty that i tell people about it.
This phrase, “it’s ur body, you get choose what you want!” What about the unborn child’s body? Do they get to choose? 😢 esp in the last trimester where their life is clearly viable. Or in the case where it’s out of convince rather than a medical issue. 👼this is heartbreaking
when told my then boyfriend about the first pregnancy he gave girls his phone and told them to tell me to stop chasing him because his taken,so i had an abortion months later he cameback and apologized then i fell pregnant again,the second pregnancy felt like i was 'replacing' the first child so i was 'glad' but he turned on me again so i went to the Doctors again.
I believe in ProChoice. That does not mean I support Abortion or am against it, I believe a woman has a right to choose whatever she wants to do with her body and everybody has no right to say anything about it because its their life. She has a right to choose to keep a child even if she doesn't have any means to keep the child, she also has a right to choose to abort the baby and feel alright with having no guilt whatsoever with bringing a child into a world where its not wanted.
sometimes we take decisions that are are best at a given time, but now looking back I was going to make a better decision not to abort...cant take the pic out of ma mind
I guess I’m a “modern mother” also, because I’m 46 years old and the mother of 27 and 21 year old daughters, and we’ve talked about sex openly in my house ever since they were teenagers
Clinics should really improve on they approach to young women seeking help. A young lady not knowing much will always avoid awkwardness or having to deal with the a rude nurse whose job is to guide you, for as long as that is not resolved we will always find the increase in teenage pregnancy, STDs etc. and the backdoor person will also always be in business. I come from a bad experience in wanting birth control(the woman was so rude). I walked away, thank God i could afford to go a GP. imagine those who really have no other option...
Samantha Senkge I fully agree with u...my cousin always has a horrible experience from the nurses when fetching birth control pills at the local clinic..not everyone can afford R115 every month (dats what im paying for my birth control pills)..it is free at the clinic. I wouldn't have it ny other way myself but had no other option but to now pay for the pills cause I also had a horrible experience.
but guys if a drunken driver has a right to live why doesn't the unborn child? because the mother is not ready?. The right to choice and the right to life cant be biased once they are then they are compromised and so it becomes difficult to tell anyone they have to provide the service or not to abort. Lets all hide behind choice.

You could have an implant inserted on you to avoid having to go through all of that. I have it on and it's the best decision I ever made.
