OK, this cast is growing on me. I never thought I would get used to Lily Pichu’s voice for Megumi, but even it is growing on me. I felt that in the first episode, some of the cast were still getting used to their roles, but this episode felt like they were more comfortable.
The entire Café scene that Megumi listened in on is just, HOLY, even I gor flustered and I already knew the joke! This Dub is managing to keep up (and in moments like that, even surpass) the Subs amazingly well.
Hell yeah, new Vanguard anime! I am near blind so I can not read subs. I am really looking forward to this! It sounds like a lot of fun. I like the artist guy (I have no idea how he is spelled...). Pretty and fascinating.
Saying that her voice doesn't suit Megumi doesn't imply that she's not doing a fantastic job. It means what it means. The voice just doesnt suit Megumi.
She’s good as a voice actor however the voice doesn’t suit the character she’s trying to portray. Her voice is girly and effeminate. Megumi is a tomboy, the two don’t really mesh well as they’re conflicting styles. There’s a big difference between “wow this voice actor is horrible” and “hey I like this voice actor but they aren’t really suited to this role” the series is just starting and I don’t think she’s had a major voice acting role before so there’s obvious room for improvement.

The one Danji dropped has the sticker. But the one laid out among the cards on the table does not. Idk if that was intentional but it makes sense because then yu yu definitely would have noticed and asked about it.
I like the animation it great and so is the story but I miss the orginal card fight animation where the units actually attack eachother there’s no planet cray imagination I hope they can bring that back?

Like, Danji is well known in their town, at least well enough known/liked by everyone that he can do all these jobs and do well in all of them. So he could have very well just like walked to something like the church and be like "I wanna marry two people together, can I please do that" and the priests would be like "sure fam"

After making this comment, my friend and I bought some pre-release kits for set 2. We ended up passing along some bulk and the pre-release mats to two new players who walked into the store that day.
I’ve watched all of the original series until legion mate and then jumped into this and I gotta say it’s good but man the fights seem too fast like we don’t see much of what happens. What I love from the original is seeing the whole fights play out
After watching multiple series I like the stories but damn sometimes its hard to keep track of whats happening on the field since theres no damage and stuff tbh
Yes it gives any unit in the front row (Including accel rearguards I think) 10K even if the unit is called after the persona ride ( like a force 1 marker from V Premium)

Viewing the show for a second time now something doesn’t add up, The era is called Chakrabarthi Divine a reference to Yu-yu’s signature grade 3 like Chrono’s Chronojet the show puts a lot of emphasis on Trickstar, it gets the signature ability the show’s names for and it feels a lot more significant, I think they’re trying to do Blaster Blade again because this is a soft reboot of the original series but every other protagonist of vanguard even in side material’s Avatar is a grade three with the exception of V-series Shin with Valkerion witch is more of a connection to the gimmick of V-series Genesis and of course Aichi… does anyone else find that weird
Well, actually- While you're not technically wrong, there is something you're incorrect about. Aichi's avatar is, and has always been, Blaster blade in one form or another. Like, Blaster Blade, and Blaster Blade liberator. They were Grade 2's, not three. Though, yeah, Chrono's was a Grade 3. And idk about Emi since I haven't seen the EX series.

You know, it's sad when we've had so many episodes of Vanguard, the game becomes a backdrop to the character stories. Not that it's a bad thing, just that... I would expect some people wanting to enjoy seeing all the cards being played and not just the highlights.
Well, I like what they're doing. Now the show doesn't feel like it's one of those series that's like- Like the stupidity of the Yugioh anime where like, things get too serious about a literal children's card game. The fate of the world isn't on the line, its literally just people enjoying their lives and play card games on the side.

Viewing the show for a second time now something doesn’t add up, The era is called Chakrabarthi Divine a reference to Yu-yu’s signature grade 3 like Chrono’s Chronojet the show puts a lot of emphasis on Trickstar, it gets the signature ability the show’s names for and it feels a lot more significant, I think they’re trying to do Blaster Blade again because this is a soft reboot of the original series but every other protagonist of vanguard even in side material’s Avatar is a grade three with the exception of V-series Shin with Valkerion witch is more of a connection to the gimmick of V-series Genesis and of course Aichi… does anyone else find that weird

While you're not technically wrong, there is something you're incorrect about. Aichi's avatar is, and has always been, Blaster blade in one form or another. Like, Blaster Blade, and Blaster Blade liberator. They were Grade 2's, not three. Though, yeah, Chrono's was a Grade 3. And idk about Emi since I haven't seen the EX series.
@@SpectralLumo I know it just feels a little weird because you’d think Nirvana would feel just as important or a bit more important as Trickstar seeing how the show is named after Trickstar’s overdress ability and Nirvana has the whole era named after it, just like how in the G era almost every as far as I remember related to the at the time mysterious Gear Chronicle clan and it was this big mystery both in and out of universe.
@@benduford3746 Nirvana is important though, just as important as Trickstar/Vairina because the Nirvana rideline gives you Trickstar and Vairina. They, like, grow alongside each other. So, whenever we get Nirvana out, our Trickstar grows into Vairina alongside it.

You know, it's sad when we've had so many episodes of Vanguard, the game becomes a backdrop to the character stories. Not that it's a bad thing, just that... I would expect some people wanting to enjoy seeing all the cards being played and not just the highlights.

Like the stupidity of the Yugioh anime where like, things get too serious about a literal children's card game. The fate of the world isn't on the line, its literally just people enjoying their lives and play card games on the side.

It's the one thing that you always think of as it makes you feel happy. Lip-flaps; most, if not, all dubbing studios cannot change them so the studios tend to rephrase the script so not only it matches the flaps, but the context doesn't get lost in translation. Keep in mind that the words and phrases we say in English tend to be longer when translated into Japanese.
