I get Viv's perspective that he couldn't be arsed and wants to enjoy his life. But if this was someone softer than Duffy, he would have be there. It's because he knew Lee was no easy match and probably out-do him. Plus, all the bullying he did in his time, pushing his weight about. When it was his time, he bottled it really. So I also get Duffy's perspective too. Either way, if neither lived the life they did Brian, they would be still alive today and enjoying life.
@@demimoffatt7900 well, the doormen confirmed Duffy did who beat them up, according to Brian. I was never there so go off hearsay. Yeah, but Viv was always with loads of people. Very rarely alone. How was he easy to find? Bewick however went up with just him and his mate to fight Viv's mate when Viv slyed Ernie. This was a planned fight. Ernie was beating his mate up and Viv slied him. Viv had loads of his mates there.

@@chooselife5863 Brian said it about himself. In the ring, Duffy was the better boxer, but outside, he said he was more challenging. I don't think Viv was massively skilled. Just a big lump, with stiff punches it seems. He slied Ernie Bewick when he fought his mate, because Ernie was getting the better of him.
Now Ernie was a good boxer.

Aye, Duffy hit him, sent him in a daze, all lights, went down, then Brian I think grab him and slammed him against something, a car I think. May not be fully accurate, just from Brian himself. Wasn't full all out though I don't think he said and they stopped, then became good mates.

On my 18 birthday I went to the Havana in Middlesbrough, and Lee Duffy was in there, I absolutely shat myself! I was 18 looking 23 so I kept my head well down!
Hi, I was there every weekend, I got to know lee and used to talk to him all the time with Terry, best lads you will ever meet, I never seen lee cause any trouble in there, used to stand at the front with his top off just enjoying himself like everyone else, at the time the E's were 25 to 30, I gone in the toilets and lee was in the first cubicle, i was looking for one and lee said in the softest voice, why don't you get them off me, I said would you do them cheaper, he said of course 15, done the deal and Lee said if you want any more just let me know, he just walked away as nice as he could be

@Bobby Sutherland Lee definitely did juice. He went from 15st to over 17st and was getting them off Craig Howard. It's all in the books. Still very athletic though and what a fighter.

His legs are absolutely huge, looks very menacing. There's another of him in a hot tub with his Mrs that shows off his top half. Big dude
