It's good the water level didn't rise after you crossed, you would have been trapped on the other side...

Hurry up Elon and get rid of those jaspers with cotton for brains...oh well no history lesson from me... I guess my life is an "argument " sure love this channel.. need to go to another platform ..you tube is just a graveyard anymore for Lucy reruns

Something magical yet ominous and eerie about a desert rainstorm. It's like nothing else. We used to get out and run around when we were kids during these storms and flash floods out in Powell Butte, Oregon. There were deap cut water run-off channels all over the hills and buttes out there. The storms would create large pools and ponds of water in minutes.

I am a new subscriber and I saw this title and immediately watched.
Several years ago I was in a flash flood in Lake Havasu City and lived to tell.
This is a great PSA for any inexperienced hikers!
    Thank you for sharing it!

    Good advice. Thanks.
I was in the scouts growing up in San Francisco. We had one camping trip. It was to the Santa Cruz mountains. Was supposed to be a 3 day trip, but the first night a few guys got up and started knocking over the other guys tents. Ours was one of the first to go, so since we were awake, we joined in. As the other tents got knocked over more guys joined in. Finally all of our tents were knocked over and we were all gathered together. Then someone came up with the bright idea to knock over the scoutmaster's tent. He had a big Coleman tent and had brought his wife with him to help with the cooking. We snuck up to the tent and 2 of us were at each tent stake and 4 or 5 guys were ready to knock over the support poles. Then it happened. All the tent stakes came up, the poles went over and the tent came down. Boy was he mad. We all ran back to our tents to hide.
The next morning he was still mad and gathered us all together and told us to get our stuff together, we were leaving. No breakfast that morning and we were home by noon. Needless to say. That was our only camping trip, he never took us on another camp out. lol

I was sure this was going to end with the scoutmaster and his wife being exposed while he was doing his husbandly duties. 🤣🤣

@riverraisin1 lol. Was probably 3 am and he was snoring. Maybe she refused him earlier, and that's why he was so mad
