Never got a release as b-side, that's a real pity. I can only guess: Björk's not afraid to lay out deeply personal stuff, but maybe this was _too_ personal, since it was a tribute to her friend McQueen and she simply didn't want to capitalize on that sad event. Anyway, this blew me away when it came out in the Volta-era. Not just one of her best "b-sides", but one of her best songs altogether IMHO.
this song/ Lyrics makes me feel relaxed!!: this might not happen often that i feel i might breathe heavily, darling but there's so much hope there is so much hope out there i've been trying so hard to complete all the puzzles to create a flow to get the current, the warmth we all know the nourishment we all want feed on we want to feed on and then only sometime with the right amount of tears in our eyes and smiles on our lips trance-like we know, we know we know it was all worth it we know, we know it was all for a reason let's elevate let's elevate let's elevate above now now now now now ______
It's from the Volta era anyway :Z It wasn't a b-side though. She probably just used it for Alexander, she's mentioned the song a couple of times when talking about New York and brass.
Querido amigo... bjork... une la última canción de cada álbum... con la primera canción del siguiente album... si no te has dado cuenta... si no lo has notado... chequea.... por eso mi juvenil... era perfecto para cerrar volta... por que le sigue moon.
I remember a friend who didn't know Bjork at all listened to this in my car, on and on and on. At the beginnig he said: "Turn it out". I didn't want to agree... Then he was saying nothing, then: "Let it be", then: "Who was singing this?"... "You know, this is tough, but somehow atracting" - he said...
This song is amazing, but also too heavy on the emotional content. Can you imagine having to dedicate this song to a friend/collaborator who commited suicide? She must have been destroyed...
Eu acredito que não esteja no Volta por ela ser tipo um exercício, como um escritor que busca inspiração escrevendo algum conto fora da história central apenas para praticar e poder tirar algo dela mais tarde
This song makes me think of a leader of a vampire clan who wanted peace and was trying to find a solution of nurishment other than blood but couldn't and at the end went to feed with the others. But in a serious way, not like a cheesey twilight way.
i can't believe this song wasn't on volta
I'm currently convinced this is the best song she's ever created. I don't think I've ever heard anything quite like this. Wow. Just wow.
I want it to be released officialy! I really do! One of the best from Bjork. And and really trance-like video by nick Knight.
Finding a song that perfectly describes how you feel... Takk, Björk!

the song wasn't written as a tribute to Alexander McQueen's passing if it was a Volta B-side... Volta came out in 2007 when he was still alive.
It was a tribute to Alexander McQueen, they only used her song as a soundtrack.
two REAL artists. So difficult to find in this world.
WOW this song is so good it feels like if it was not available on spotify
This song is the best of Volta.. just one regrets , very short . And I really miss beats at the end to give more power. I still have goosebumps
we still missing u very much, Lee.
RIP Alexander McQueen
11.02.10
should be on spotify 😓
this song/ Lyrics makes me feel relaxed!!:
this might not happen often
that i feel
i might breathe heavily, darling
but there's so much hope
there is so much hope out there
i've been trying
so hard
to complete all the puzzles
to create a flow
to get the current, the warmth
we all know
the nourishment we all want
feed on
we want to feed on
and then only sometime
with the right amount of tears
in our eyes
and smiles on our lips
trance-like
we know, we know
we know it was all worth it
we know, we know
it was all for a reason
let's elevate
let's elevate
let's elevate
above now
now
now
now

Mind-blowing video !
She should have put this on Volts instead of My Juvenile, such a great song and would have been a perfect closer
Agree with you, even if I love My Juvenile it's a better closer...

I can't believe she would choose My Juvenile instead of this for Volta! Not that My Juvenile is bad, but this is awesome!
oh yes this would be such a better ender then my Juvenile
@MrFralimoko It was recording during the Volta sessions but didn't make it onto the album & was never released.
actually , that's not a music video. it's a tribute to alexander mqueen which nick night made. he just used this song as a soundtrack.
Thank you Bjork ... you made my day 😊
Omg
ok, cool. thanx for the info.

Why is it that nobody ever links Bjork to the Illuminati? There is alot of symbolism in this video. But I still love the hell out of her.
bc the video has nothing to do with björk
she’s too punk to be part of the Illuminati
poh yeah,
!!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!
!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!
!!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!ILLUMINATI ALERT!!!

This was made for Alexander McQueen. He was known for using abstract , controversial, and unique ideas in his work.
