What should be said about this report is: DID TRUMP ASK FOR THIS or was it the manager thinking what should be done while Trump and his wife were present? I am working for a client now (2016) where the Executive Leadership is pushing for diversity yet not getting the results desired from hiring managers ... He got in all kinds of trouble (late 70's think) over who lived in his buildings. He had two leases made, one showing a much higher price. This was to hopefully discourage minorities from living in his buildings.
Additionally, regarding the Trump recent statement on 'Mexicans coming into the States being criminals' ... I did not not hear the speech, the context or the exact comment. IF Trump was saying that coming into the States illegally is a criminal act, then I think that it is a fair statement about anyone. IF he was saying the the Mexicans who are coming into the States are criminals because of criminal activity while they were in Mexico, that might be true of some people who come into the States illegally or legally buying their way into required documentation. I don't know at this point anything for certain. Clearly, we can see wisdom in the need for careful statements from individuals in leadership positions. Likewise, blanket statements that incite passions are prone to ambiguity and misunderstandings.
If the election comes down to Donald Trump V Bernie Sanders, that is truly a win-win situation.

Trump, had a very poor record in New York with the people of color. If this story is true, I would say he just sets the tone. I worked for a private club that only had very wealthy and well-connected members. There was not one African-American member but also not one employee either. Nothing was said ever! Our club also did not have any Jewish members; they joined another club. I think he reacts the way I do toward minorities, I live in a white world and do not associate with any person of color even though they are all around me here. I think he is now pretending to be someone he is not, but I can't see into his heart only his past actions. As far as I know, he has not been involved in low-income housing for the poor and many of color. In the Las Vegas area, he built a most opulent hotel and rooms go for up to $500 a night.

Im white i am an electrician ive worked on construction sites where when corporate heads were going tocome through the building they asked us to stop while they inspected work areas it gad nothing to do with race I doubt that race had anything to do with that. What is the real message that Trump sends to people when he questions their religious affiliation or birthright? He is saying that the appearances don't matter, 'WE' somehow know the truth to be otherwise. What does this mean for civil rights and the law, not to mention science etc..and you are right, his supporters pick up on this, they know what he is really saying. Appeals to common sense, appeals to decency and thoughtful arguments do not work against people like him or his supporters and this is why I don't think Hillary can win. Think Bush v Gore only worse. What will really decide this election is how desperate people are to hear Trumps subliminal messaging.
OR it could just be the fact that when Trump and his clients would arrive at his hotels, he didn't want to see people (Any people) cleaning and mopping the floors - regardless of race or ethnicity. Of course that likely scenario was never alluded to.
It's infinitely better for someone to have been an alleged racist 30 years now than it is for the incumbent President in 2016 to be a racist beyond all doubt.

putting people to work, Sen Sanders is talking about Free Stuff. Over
the last 7 years there has been an increase in employment, unfortunately
it is mostly menial or service jobs. America needs Industry to return,
jobs that have more value...we don't need to raise the wages for menial
jobs. When the Middle-Class comes back strong, the wages for menial
jobs will rise naturally also. And those who will not cooperate with
their own society, should in all honesty, not be rewarded. If someone
wants higher pay, then they should engage in their society's
productivity. I would rather prosperity came from people working
together, than being "given" to us by Government. The ideal of
Socialism only works if it's cultural, like people getting together to
build or renovate a school, but whenever it's turned into a government
bureaucracy it fails...and fails in the worst ways.
