As a person who has used this watch since the launch, there are certain downsides which most reviewers are not pointing out:
1. No Google Fit Integration
2. Steps are undercounted. Especially, if one is indoors, a lot of steps are not registered.
3. Contact Names will not show up other than the 20 configured in the app (why this compromise?)
4. Despite background access, the watch wil lose connection from the app
