Really enjoyed this video! Just subscribed. I’m about to develop my first roll of color film with the same Cinestill kit, after developing b&w film for a few years. Question: Do you need to rinse the film after the developer and before the blix step? Thanks for taking my question 2 years after you made this video! Cheers from USA 🇺🇸. Anthony
Now a real beginner comment :) Have seen a lot of develop videos, but this explain little better. I have just got this Cinestill CS41 powder Kit. Is it the same develop time on all c41 color rolls like you show in the video. I have both Portra 400 and Fujifilm Superia 200. And do I need the rinse like you use? Thanks
Hi! No need for a stabiliser with this process, most modern film stocks include a stabiliser in the emulsion itself - you only really need stabiliser if you shoot very, very old film from before the mid-90's :)
Hi! I clean everything in hot water, with a very small amount of washing up liquid, then rinse is very well and leave to dry in the bath :) how have you found developing C-41 at home?
