I just uploaded a new version and canceled the old one. I made a stupid mistake: I told you that there is a coating on the inside of the TK Wide. Well, there is not! The inside is polished very smooth so that bacteria can not stick to it and the bottle is easy to clean. Thanks for pointing this out to me Henry! Much appreciated. Just to let you know if you are wondering why I uploaded the video a second time. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Gijs
Really nice pack! Amazing how good it fits the two kleen kanteens on the side pouches with perfect balance. That feature all by itself makes it a great pack.
Liked the review, good job! I had one of these last year it had a narrower top all one piece plastic, no loop, and I used it for cold drinks all day on tennis court. I kept ice in mine sometimes it blocked at teh neck and spurted out, might be good to see how this is to drink from the bottle if it has ice in.
Thanks for the detailed review, what a shame you didn’t conduct an ice test because most people would actually want to use it as ice canister during camping or picnic instead of using it for cold drinks.
Hi, Glad you liked! Ice? I like this remark because I use it in a different way and never thought about this. But maybe I can ad this. I'll give it a try. One question: where are you from? Cheers, Gijs
@@OutdoorguruGearReviews Hi, thank you for your reply! I am from Singapore, since we are a tropical country here it is summer all year round, when I do solo backpacking or weekend comping I need bottle or canister that could fit into my pack and keep ice from melting, many of us actually don’t drive in our small country so having a cooler box and put it in a car is out of question for many of us, anyway thank you in advance if you will do and ice test in the future! ☺️
Hi, I own the Klean Kanteen insulated 64 Oz but with a smaller plastic cap and when I take a trip with my van in the summer I generally fill it with ice on Friday at around 4 or 5 PM and there are still small ice cubes (and icy cold water, of course) on Sunday evening after 7 or 8 openings of the bottle during the WE.
Hi Jake, Thank you! I bought it in Sweden years ago. A red one and a green one. It is a Lundhags Authentic Pant MK1. It is not available anymore but the MK2 is: www.lundhags.com/en/clothing/men/pants/authentic-ii-ms-pant/?code=7318731829429 Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

@@sebleplongeur9101 hey thanks for the info! It’s really useful to know it can retain ice more than 24 hours, thank you so much, I appreciate that. 🙏🏼
