@Taupofreeride Perfect bike. A 250 4-stroke is probably the best beginners-bike you could get. Lightweight and a little torque in the low rpm's, so you don't stall all of the time. It has about the same power as a 125 2-stroke, but is easier to drive since you don't have to revv all of the time. A 4-stroke requires less maintenance too.
@RatRaper The newer 4 strokes require a lot more maintenance. They are also pricey to work on. Also, if you modify the sprockets on a 2 stroke and put on a woods pipe you can get those lower Rpms.
That's not really extreme. You can find this type of time trial in any National level competition. This is the essence of enduro riding. Use natural obstacles. Love this!
nope. you can see his rear tire is off the ground, spinning, which is your answer. high idiling bike is also a possibility to help it stay running while in gear. and when he went to grab it he just pulled in the clutch and went from there.
4 Stroke, FTW! 4 strokes use less fuel, and don't have to be rebuilt after every race! Plus, the power is smoother and more tractable. Two-strokes are unpredictable, and the RPMs have to be in a certain range to get power.
alright well i ride 4 strokes right now but im thinking of switchin to a 2 stroke for my next bike. Because rebuiling a 4 stroke cost a rediculos amount and 2 strokes are very easy to work on. I ride with a lot of 2 stroke guys and they do just fine on the singletrack we ride. It is just more work but you will become a much better rider. Anyone can ride a 4 stroke
i dont ride enduro i do motocross and im going up from 85 to the mx2 classes and i wanted a 250f but my dad wants me to get a 125 becoz of the maintenence and stuff, which would u choose???
the back tire was also not being held back by anything...if you look real carefully you can see that the bike is on it's side and the rear tire is spinning thus letting it idle in gear.
@ReinyGreen hey im going to buy (hopefully) an enduro bike but i cant find any support or explanations soo can i ask u is it possible to have a passanged with u? is there any place for a second persone on an enduro bike (spec. for ktm lc4 ) ?
4 stroke force man..! ok 2T are lighter but they have all their power at high RPM. 4T have available horsepower and tones of torque from the start. 2T are only for MX and SX not for enduro races except if you are a pro driver but i don't think that can be follow the 4T's.. Cafetek if you was there with the KTM 200 i think that you leaved it under a tree and walking to the finish line on foot.. Husaberg FE450e 4 stroke force ;o)
@RatRaper You kidding me? A four stroke requires wayyy more maintenance than a friggin' two smoke. A CRF250R is one of the most maintenance intensive dirt bikes to ever walk the planet..
Anyone who's doubting 2 stokes place in enduro should check the credentials of Jeff Fredette at "Fredette Racing" and the unparalleled number of wins he achieved on the rather humble KDX 200/220. Ossa is also making a comback and is working with 2 strokes w/ multiple injectors.
why the hell did the guy in orange with the KTM tuen his bike backwards to get on and then turn forwards after he got on even though it was facing the right direction in the first place?
you have also never heard of a 300 or 380 2t and really no nothing about the world of motorcycles, right now in america at least 4 strokes are more dominant than 2 strokes in the field of motorcross and supercross while there is still a large number of two strokes in the offroad world
they suck?hehehe i wouldnt think so....you now looks pretty eazy but in reallity its very hard...i try it i can tell you...you must have extreme condition..and i meen really extreme,if you want have good time...
grand coup de chapeau pour le soutien des spectateur !
love the crowd in this vid. Pure camaraderie. Some great riding too.
Ca c'est de l'enduro du vrai de vrai.En tout cas meme les gars qui ce plante repartent super bien, c'est des bon !

nice video also great to see much support towards all riders from the crowd x

Badass, couple of those guys sailed right through there
This is the enduro - original, real enduro!!!
sweet! such a supportive crowd, too!
nope. you can see his rear tire is off the ground, spinning, which is your answer.
high idiling bike is also a possibility to help it stay running while in gear. and when he went to grab it he just pulled in the clutch and went from there.
i love how the people that fall get more applause than the people that make it faster lol
its good to see them cheer them on when they get back on the bikes

ajajaja como molaa tioo!!
haha I love mt TW 200 enduro in the mud because of the huge rear tire its like a tank!
@ReinyGreen hey im going to buy (hopefully) an enduro bike but i cant find any support or explanations soo can i ask u is it possible to have a passanged with u? is there any place for a second persone on an enduro bike (spec. for ktm lc4 ) ?
Yep 2 strokes are very much alive. I use my 200sx for enduro and its prefect ill only change it cause its getting old. Its the rider not the bike.
Hell yeah, that guy was a badass
0:36 How does he crash and the bike still runs? shouldnt it just stall out?
belter of a special stage
That last guy ate it, lol I feel his pain.
great vid
is the second yellow enduro a husaberg?
Good footage.
@yz85superman Still better to use cross for enduro riding than enduro on a motocross track :)
Did his engine die before the faceplant?

Husaberg FE450e 4 stroke force ;o)
@zombi105 yeah two strokes wroken more, are cheap, funny and didnt run too fast, but 300s KTM are great...
LOL... Dude @ 37sec stacks hard! Forgets which way he was going!! Hahahaha
you just cannot love this sport :X
They didn't take me in that clip:S
Electric starter?
@RatRaper You kidding me? A four stroke requires wayyy more maintenance than a friggin' two smoke. A CRF250R is one of the most maintenance intensive dirt bikes to ever walk the planet..

Haha KTMs are nice they have the magic electric start button I have a 520 and a CRF450 and I love both bikes but man not having to kick is nice...
i have some of this footage on a moto dvd i bought... I think
muito bom.
This looks easy compare to Gotland Grand National. Hell on earth for enduro drivers.
4strokes RULEZ! no doubt :P
Enduro για πάντα! - Enduro in eterno! - Enduro forever! - Enduro para siempre! - Enduro jamais! - Enduro evigt! - Enduro eternidade! - Enduro 永遠に!
no apparently you guys dont ride enduro's you see just as many 2's as 4's and 4's as 2's it all depends on what kind of bike the rider is used too.
You can get a new husaberg 08 model for £4,000 or a good second hand one for around £2,000 Go and get one you wont regret it!
1:06 "oops, he's down" (Matt Damon)
Splendid!
Nikel!!!!
Lol, I love bike more than anything else in the world, except girls of course. But these people are freaks (the spectators I mean...) :-)
@pointtheblame off course, but you forgive run, you just going to drive a slowly way... It is good to pick up girls!

extreme is a proper word here.

1:05 haha he ate it bad. did he not see the 4 foot drop off? lol
yeh good spot....my ktm wouldve stalled i think...or at least it has easily in falls like that...either way...thanks for the answers guys
@zombi105
not more work...less work, but more often.....a 4 stroke is more work, more expansive, less often....
lol it sounds like the guy with the KTM is swering in Italian (0:38) xD...
why the hell did the guy in orange with the KTM tuen his bike backwards to get on and then turn forwards after he got on even though it was facing the right direction in the first place?
@Taupofreeride yea that should be sweet for you
last guy almost got ganked by his bike

most 4-Stroke bikes are electric start for that reason. Have you ever seen a 2 stroke electric start..? No...
These aren't enduros they are dirt bikes.
