- For the 1st time in Sikh TV History, ANAHAD BANI (Soulful Divine Raag-Aadharit SEHAJ PATH with TANTI SAAZ) is undertaken by Akal Academy Students, Baru Sahib. ANAHAD BANI is the costliest program ever undertaken in Sikh Television History. The soulful Raag Aadharit rendition of the complete Guru Granth Sahib ji, has been made possible by training young students in Raags through dozens of accomplished Professors of Raagas (Music).
The closing ceremony witnessed Eminent Ragis, religious preachers like Bhai Nirmal Singh Ji Khalsa, Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri, Akal Takhat Jathedhar Gurbachan Singh JI, Mr.Trilochan Singh Ji (Member-Parliament). They appreciated the efforts taken by Akal Academy Baru Sahib in training & polishing the talents of these students, stringing the pious pearls of Guru Sahib. The Live telecast of Anahad Bani programs were telecasted by PTC news Channel, brimming the essence of Gurbani among the Sangat with the divine mesmerizing atmosphere. It started on 13th April 2010 carrying forward its journey of 40 months.
"Since all of us have an important role to play in the development and furtherance of a peaceful society, we request your good self to partake in this Anahad Bani and make it part of your daily routine during this Tri-centenary year so that one and all can contribute to furthering the message of universal brotherhood as preached in Sri Guru Granth Sahib", said Baba Iqbal Singh.
