Congratulations on your business endeavor! So far, the 1/4 size has been my favorite and although LUTS is my favorite company, they don't have (in my opinion) lots of options for female sculpt faces in the large size doll as they do males. I also prefer the traditional S-hook system for hands and feet versus the magnets..I know it may be more difficult on the sculptor but the longevity of the doll (in my opinion) is better. I ended up re-homing the doll with magnetic hands/feet because they never really stayed on and I didn't enjoy her as much. Thanks for watching!

They do look so much bigger than 1/4! I’m scared of tall dolls lol. Always thinking if they fall down dmg to Dave could be noticeable because of theirs height. But they are so cute! How is magnets in hands? Not too weak?
Same, especially if you don't have a doll stand. So my taller dolls are displayed sitting down and Ive had no troubles with them taking a tumble. The doll with the magnetic hands I ended up re-homing shortly after this video. I was not a fan of the magnetic parts and I didn't find them to be very sturdy/strong magnets at all. I much rather the hook system! Thanks for watching!

Well I was thinking why not make BJD Dolls like The Dolls without The magnetics but with The hooks not The hooks but you Know.?.
Most BJDs are made with the hands/feet that have hook attachment. Fairyland is actually known for using their magnetic system in the hands, feet, and head cap. However, I don't care for it so much, Overtime it wears out and parts get loose.

The original Dolls are much more beautiful, because first of all they can hold their poses so nicely and smoothly, each piece of their joints is made with love and not just to get someone else scammed. Before i read your description on your UA-cam, i directly realized that was a recast feeple60 carol because i saw how much more lose her joints/body looked than my legit feeple60. Anyhow is a shame that you choose to buy 2 recasts and not get one legit instead, i don't judge why you did it but i want you to know why you shouldn't do it.
Many BJD companies have close their productions and is a Big shame cause they don't make new sculpts or old sculpts, is the favorite Sculpt or company even for some people and now they can't support the artist that made them anymore and that's so bad/sad for so many other reasons. Like imagine how many more people have lost their jobs. The reason is because of the recasters, they stealing their sculpts and make money from someone elses work.
Is like when you draw something unique and beautiful and then someone steals it from you and putting it up for sale and make a living from your work and you get 0 credits and money from it so you end up homeless. So Please do not buy recast buy legit dolls they worth the wait and the money. Support the original artists by buying from the companies.
Also Bjd is a big community and people sell second hand, that way you can buy something legit with less money or even with Layaway if you can't afford paying full price directly.
Thanks for reading if you did so far. Please think before you spend your money in Bjd recast cause really, if you can afford getting two recasts you can easily get one legit instead that would worth 10 times more than the recasted one.
Thank you for watching and taking time out of your day to write this very extensive comment. Although, the information you shared is appreciated (for someone who doesn't know anything about BJDs), I won't be bullied into buying a certain kind of doll that "the community" deems to be appropriate. I work hard for my money and in turn, I am allowed to spend it however I see fit. As you stated in the beginning, you do NOT know my reasonings for purchasing such a doll; therefor you shouldn't assume anything. I've been collecting BJDs long enough to have educated myself on the pros and/or cons of recast dolls. There are also pros and cons to collecting legit dolls (as with anything) but no one has stopped to think about what they may be or even give them a fair consideration. If you honestly think legit companies are overly concerned about their employees and their artists in countries like China, Thailand and Korea, you are sadly mistaken. Nonetheless, if it eases your mind, I *do* purchase legit dolls as well as recast dolls (depending on the doll and wether I have access to the original one or not). Lastly, I highly recommend you stop crusading around on UA-cam attempting to spread some kind of knowledge. It only comes across as being a bully and elitist. You can share information about a topic without being a demanding know-it-all. Once more, thanks for watching and have a good day!
I own both legit and recast bjds and I have recently decided to switch my collection up to be SD with the exception of one msd. I very easily sold all 4 of my recasts I decided to sell and I actually made money on all but one. My two legit dolls I have for sale are still sitting there and I have put out offers for them so that after fees and shipping costs I might be out money. It is pretty false to make it sound as if buying legit is in any way worth more. Also I have watched a lot of videos where people buy legit dolls and there is something horribly wrong with the doll. In Muneca poupees and dolls video where she gets the Twigling that doll comes with a black mark in her resin. The artist handled that doll and still sent it out that way. Allison seemed ok with it but she didn't know it was like that until she got the doll and just didn't want to waste resources. I just think it is ridiculous when people come on and say how amazing these artist or legit bjds are when their creators can't be bothered to send an email saying hey I just got your doll and sadly there is a mark in the resin would you like me to cast a new piece or would you mind me sending her like this and I will give a bit of a discount. Twigling dolls aren't cheap and they take forever to come. To me that is awful customer service and say what you want about recast but all the recast sellers I have dealt with are excellent in their customer service department.

Just my 2 cents did you know that you can fix “poor” posing in recasts with…. $2 craft wire? Or even floral wire. I’m pretty sure people know what to expect when they buy recasts.
At least these dolls are second hand.
